Gary Flitcroft scores first goal in a long time to beat us. Alan Smith had a PK saved by Brad Friedel.
Harry Kewell was in Aussie Land with the flu on his birthday. Sounds like we had a lot of chances to score, but Friedel had good game. McMaster, another Aussie, mad his first team debut.

Winning big games against Man Utd. & Newcastle and then losing to Rovers. A wee bit on the inconsistent side. Kind of annoying, really.
