Wasn't the DCU Store supposed to be new and improved back in April?! It's the same crappy merchandise - just look at the YEAR on the calendar!

I want four stars on everything so I sport my DCU gear around the country in time for next season. Scarves, shirts, jerseys, teddy bears - hell, I'll even buy a facsimile autographed 8x10 of Kevin Payne in a D.C. United polo shirt!

Revamp the store and I'll spend more than my share of cash there...

I'm going all in. May as well put a 5th star on there for next year. :D

Mark, I can't agree more with you, we definitely stuck by this team through thick and thin.

To the Gentleman from the front office: Let us have 4 stars please!

Am I the only one who's against putting 4 on the kit?

I think we should leave it at 3...the 3 stars can be for the 3 stars on DC's flag.

Another way to look at it is...we've won so many more titles than anyone else, we don't need to put all of ours on there...3 is enough to remind everyone. After all, are we really gonna have 10 stars in 6 years? It's just gonna start looking like a yellow jersey after a little while. ;)

Next time we win we could put a silver star on their to signify 5 titles, and then just add gold ones again for every one past 5.

This is almost exactly what the military does on their ribbons. You add "clusters" until you get to say 4 then the 5th is a different color (they usually start with bronze and move to silver).

I see no reason to not add the 4th start. Especially because this team did what most thought could not be done. And they did it not as just a bunch of players, but as an entire organization, from the front office, the coaches, the team, and us FANS!

I'm sure there's some reasonable way of putting stars on the kit and signifying the accomplishments. Whatever you do, it's gotta mean something extra when a rookie pulls on the shirt for the first time.

Maybe they could just have only stars for 10-year increments from 96 forward. I'm as optimistic as the next guy, but I doubt very often we would run out of room for the stars.
