They know we're going to win on Sunday, so they're just handing out pity prizes to the other teams.
Not only did Jaime deserve MVP (why the ******** did Guevara win???) but he most obviously SHOULD have won Comeback Player.

I can understand how...Moreno got back to where he was, Ching is better now than he was before he ruptured his Achilles.

The positive side of all of this is that it could serve as a motivator if any is needed.

I think Jaime should have been MVP, but I'm not upset about him losing Comeback player of the year. Ching came back from a ruptured achilles to be a star in the league. I don't know Jaime, but I feel pretty confident he couldn't give a rat's *** about the comeback award. He's in my opinion one of the top 3 MLS players of all time, why would he want this useless award. Does he need his ego stroked? No. The trophy he really should want is within his grasp. The shiny metallic bulbous one sitting in Carson. If he wins that won't he tie Agoos for the most championships won by a player in league history? Or does Agoos have 5.

Does anyone know how they carry out the voting for these awards (assuming it really exists)?
One possibility is that Moreno suffered from being nominated for two different honors. Not many people are going to select him as both Comeback Player and MVP. As a result, his votes may have been split between the awards.

Razov is a perfect fit for the Metrostars.
They just haven't been as lovable since Mathis left. Ante is the perfect example of a highly talented, immature, head case of a striker for the team.

Another excuse for MLS detractors to claim we're not a "real" league.
What BS. Guevara is such a thug, I was sure his disciplinary record would have kept him out of the running.
Who the ******** got to vote in this debacle anyway?
