So far I've paid ala carte for every Man. U match on PPV.
4 x $30 = $120.
This weekend...another $30.
Fook!

Anyone else feel my pain?
;)

I feel ya... it's a little bit cheaper here in Northern Cal, $20 + tax and fees per match from comcast.

We get about 3 live games and another 2-3 tape-delayed... but this year they've hardly been showing United.

Over the last three years Utd have lost their appeal. We see up to five games a weekend here - always Arsenal and Chelsea are shown - but Utd are no longer guaranteed. My arguments for attacking football from Alex are not just about tactics :(

I can say that Man U are on PPV because they are the only ones that can make money. Nobody cares about Chelski and I only know one Arsenal supporter. Unfortunately, the tour of the US has shown that we will pay whatever price to see our beloved United.

As someone who bought 10 tickets for the Chicago game as well as the PPV games I guess I must be the biggest sucker of all.

It will be funny to see if I spend $300 on Man U PPV games this season.

I will say this though, if they offered a Man U only package I'd buy it.

That sounds about right :)

I've watched 4 matches on PPV already this season. Basically, that's all available ManUtd PPV match except the Pompey match. 4 * (19.95 + tax + fee) ~ $90.
We've only finished about one-third of the season and the FA cup 4th round has not even started yet.

I have bought all of the games except for the Pompey one. I have to say I wouldn't mind paying the $25+ per game if they were playing well but paying that to watch the massives match was hard to stomach. I was glad I bought the newcastle match but it was still too close for comfort. Anyone here have a real shite day after you spend that money only for them to play like crap?

Man U is too popular.
Popularity breeds PPV. We are the market.
As long as we keep paying we will keep paying.

Now if Chelski could lose those all blue pajamas and maybe if Arsenal didnt look like a French CyclingTeam some people would and could get behind them and we could just be a run of the mill football attraction and we could see all the games for nada.

It is going to take another milinium for all that to happen.
