Would we want him? He is a good striker. And Curbs is the kind of manager to straighten someone out. Plus, Mutu's in the kind of position that if he got things going at Charlton, he might stay for a while.

Discuss.

I would like that move for Mutu for him to show Chelsea what they gave up on, he is a world class player and once he is done with his ban I think he will sign with another English team just to get back at Chelsea and if he comes here he will do a great job I think.

It would be great to see Mutu take a pay cut and help the Addicks gain a European spot. He could do that. He could really score some goals for Charlton.

But I doubt he would take the pay cut. And I'm not sure that even if he could afford him that Curbs would take him.

Still, it is interesting to think about. A couple of years of success at Charlton could do Mutu a world of good.

Don't forget that Charlton would never associate themselves with a drug user. I don't care how good he is. You can't take the risk that he won't do it again. No club should be responsible for a player that violates that standard anti-drug clause that is in all Premiership contracts. For once I'm on Chelsea's side on this topic. Let him go back to the crime-filled Serie A. That is perfect fit for him.
