Should be interesting, but it could be exhausting becuz the WCQ begins on Feb 9, and what if its against Korea or Japan? Going to Rome, then Tehran, then East Asia could be exhuasting. I expect a close game, mainly becuz Italy is facing some troubles and Iran has a good offense.

If this is true I hope Lippi fields a number of our best players. For our Finland friendly that is in a week or so, it is mostly a b-team. That said, if Iran wins we will never hear the end of it.
That's of course assuming this is true.

We are not going to play Italy on 2 February 2005. That day we will play Slovenia. That match is confirmed by IFF and FIFA (go to www.fifa.com).
