Im arriving on the 14th Nov and staying for 11 nights. 3 nights spent in kandy and 8 spent in bentota. The hotels Ive booked are the Hilltop and the Bentota Beach Hotel. I am looking for excusion idea's and restaurant idea's. I know of Aida in Bentota, but thats it a the moment. Also does anyone have an idea of what the weather is like there at the moment?

You're going during their cricket season, and it's only in England we seem to have matches when we expect it to rain. :cool:

From Kandy a good day trip is to Dambula and Sirigiya. They are both UNESCO sights. There is a fantastic Chinese restaurant in Kandy, one of the best I have ever tried.
From Bentola Beach, try an excursion south to the city of Galle, a Dutch town that is now pretty much of a ghost town with a few tourists.
