Old Firm January Transfer Rumours

Rangers are currently looking at Finnish International Teemu Tainio (Auxerre) in an attempt to bolster the midfield, I haven't seen him play but I hear he's good. Nigel Quashie is another rumour I've heard and also Man Utd youngster Djordic, whom Celtic fans may remember him scoring that chip in the 2-0 friendly win at Parkhead a few years ago ;)

Apparently Tainio has set his sights on a move to Rangers after a talk with Jonathon Johansson & Antii Niemi, I haven't heard about the Fletcher rumour, i think if he was ever to play for us it would be on loan for 1st team experience. As for McFadden, thats a rumour thats been going on for the last couple years which i believe will never happen because he's Celtic daft, I believe there will be money spent in January to get decent players

Would agree he'd be crazy to leave Portsmouth right now (unless it's for a bigger premiership club). I'm worried about fletch and faddy though. They need to move somewhere, even just on loan, to be getting first team football.

Yeah cos the premiership is full of top quality players who wouldnt sully themselves with the scottish game....like Juninho and Camara.....they have ruled the roost up here so far.
Jesus the fannies have taken over the asylum round here, why not go back to checking up who is tearing up the pub league whom east fife might be able to tempt into semi professional football.

I actually meant players who get a game in the Premiership or anybody with a bit of dignity who might aspire to play regulalry in the Premiership.

ok, I'll rephrase.....What good Premiership player who wants to go somewhere with his career and is not damaged goods and/or looking for one last signing on fee in a joke of a league with no pressure to produce anything where it matters (Europe) would want to come to Scotland.

I’ve heard that one as well!

It does tend to get a big ridiculous with all the rumours. I tend to be a bit cynical about it all but it’d hard to not to get excited when you hear about some of the players we are linked with.

Ok, well teh result today shows that Celtic need to get soem money together and sign some players.I really have no idea wehre to get money, and who to buy though...maybe Spector on Loan from Man United (coming kind of from the biast US view) but seriously, hes a good defender...it looks like West Brom could be calling though...
