I don't see any slagging off of Owen on these forums these days, could it be that some of you dipshits recognise some English talent after all??

I've got a feeling it will only take a couple of games without scoring for all the plastic know-nothing fans to start labelling him 'overrated' again.

It was the same with Beckham. Plays well, the criticism goes away, plays badly for a little while, and he's shite and overrated again..

What happens when you have been playing badly for years, like Beckham?

Beckham hasn't been playing badly for years, he's been average at times at worst.

Apart from the first half a season at Real Madrid, he has been poor for several years, particularly for the NT.

Several years, and particulary for the NT???? I refuse to even make an argument against such nonsense.

It's kind of hard to play great when the entire team is playing poor, moreso when you're not even playing on your best position.

I'll leave it for your fellow England fans to correct your ignorance.

I haven't missed an England game in the last 5 years, I think I know what I'm talking about. Claiming Beckham has been poor for the NT during the last 7 years is ludicrous. Now if you meant to say he has been poor lately, fair enough, but I'd say he's been average myself.

Of course it is. That's why I posted SEVERAL and not 7! :D

That is okay though. I mean, who better to recognize mediocrity than a Scotland fan?

Scotland aren't even mediocre though, they're shite.

Fair enough, I mis-read, but you're still talking nonsense to a certain degree..

Great to see that Mikey10 is trying to avoid correcting his very embarrassing mistake on the previous page. :D
