...why?
Because this is a story that needed to be told!
If it's not called "The Passion of Bill and Ted" it should be!

Maybe Bill and Ted can hook up with Beavis and Butt-head and Wayne and Garth and they can all argue over who came up with the idea first.

I imagine that Alex Winters doesn't have anything better to do but Keanu? Did he make enough money from his Matrix payday (15 percent of everything) to just fool around?

Hell yeah. I mean for a while the Matrix DVD was THE DVD to test your home system on. SO just about everyone I know has one. Then you got the video game, the other movies DVDs, the box office $$, the merchandising...
That guy is set for life. 15% is alot each one of those movies made over 100M just in theatre sales, you can probably say that the Matrix made 500M in total sales so thats at leats 75M off one project he did, possibly more as time goes on. Thats not mentioning all the other movies he's made.
Plus I dont think he's the type of actor who gives a crap too much, I mean he tours around with a crappy band for christ sakes. So the thought of making a fun silly movie probably isnt so far fetch to him.

I always wanted to redub The Matrix with Keanu's lines from Bill and Ted. Surely someone must have already done this.

I'd catch this movie on the hope that they run into Greek philosopher So-Krates.

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey said everything that needed to be said about Bill & Ted.

roam.com used to have Bill & Ted adventures. The "Bill" was Bill Clinton and "Ted" as Ted Kennedy. They went around chasing girls. George W. occasionally poped up as the boring. Bible-loving guy and they hated him for spoiling the parties.

Wasn't there a Bill & Ted cartoon and a Bill & Ted TV series (both of them short-lived and without the original actors)?

Yes. Didn't get much play. I recall there was also Bill and Ted cereal, based on the cartoon.

Dude, I think it would be a most excellent suggestion if they actually filmed in San Dimas this time... :D

Ahhh, so that's why the flavor was so two-dimensional.

Whatever happened to the original Bill? Or Ted?
Whichever one wasn't Keanu Reeves.
