Seattle has been the dominant team on the field in the Northwest for years. Now other Northwest clubs have passed us up in fan support. Make 2005 the year you get onboard! I think you would want your name on the short list for MLS tix in 2006, no?

The Portland supporters outnumber Seattle supporters at least 4 to 1 in our own stadium, but the overall feeling of rivalry between the two sides is very intense.

Well if it wasn't for the fact that I live in Alaska during most of the season I'd buy a pass, however when I'm down here for school I do go to games when I can. I loved hanging out with the guys at that Portland playoff game. I couldn't stop laughing over the stuff that was said to Portland's GK about his then recent DWI.

Hmm, I hadn't heard of that one before. This is my first instance of being compared to a Nazi, so I'm unfamiliar with genre.

However, since the Sounders fan is threatening to revoke something I do not have (I did not request a press pass for Seattle last year, I went as a fan only), nor do I ever intend to get one again in the future, have they invoked some other obscure law, "threatening to take away that which one does not possess"?

Allison get over it!!! You act as if you’re so innocent and that you never start any trouble. I have seen so many posts on several message boards where you have tried to instigate an argument. You are the classic definition of a martyr! Don’t act so surprised when one has a comment about you. :eek: You put yourself in that position to receive that kind of feedback. Take it like a woman! I am just tired of seeing you act like a wounded animal all the time. It is getting really old. You set yourself up for it by changing someone’s post. You could have definately handled that response in a whole different way instead you wanted to rub it in our face. We all know how big TA is and I am confused why you have to keep reminding us of it? So as long as you want to keep doing that then be prepared to receive the kind of comments you receive. But don’t act like you’re so innocent! Oh and Allison please post this on your board because I am sure you will with a few side comments. I could care less what the responses are but truth is truth and I call it like I see it!!

If you're going to dish it out, you better be able to take it. Sounders supporters are notorious for bashing Portland and their supporters (or me) at least a few times a day on their own board (and here), so sometimes I have no problem with giving a little bit of it back, and I make no apologies for it. And I do so under my own name.

Isn't that what rivalry is all about. I have no problem taking it. But I have been on the end of some rude comments made on your board and I don't go and post on my board about it. I take it for what it is....just pure 100% rivalry. So dish away.... :)
