If you could compose a player out of all characteristics of all football players, what would he look like?
I would like him to have the dribble of Maradona, the overview of Zidane (or Beckenbauer, haven't decided yet), the acceleration of Ronaldo in his barcelona years, the finishing of Gerd Muller, the character of Eric Gerets, defending skills of Paolo Maldini,...
What does your player look like?

I can only talk of current players...I've only seen this generation of players. I never really saw Pele, Maradona, Eusebio, etc.
the heart of Luis Figo
the strength of Ballack
the shot of Wayne Rooney
the passing of Deco
the dribbling of Ronaldinho
the speed of Cristiano Ronaldo
the playmaking ability of Zidane
the defensive awareness of Vieira

I'll stick to players currently playing. It's easier, will cause less arguments and help the younger posters.
The reflexes of Buffon.
The defending of Ayala.
The tenacity of Gattuso.
The attitude of Roy Keane.
The dribbling of Vicente.
The skill of Ronaldinho.
The passing of Gerard.
The vision of Bergkamp.
The finishing of Van Nistelrooy.
The sheer arrogance of Henry.
The hair of Nedved.
The age of Christiano Ronaldo.

Unless he's a keeper. Then he should have arms.

Ideal footballer = Pele + GK skills
I think their own GK skills were enough. Didnt you know several times the first goalkeeper couldnt play for some reason, Pele played in Santos goal?
Its said he got defender skills too (well, he dribbled all the other team forwards inside his own area in direction to the midfield)

"The attitude of Roy Keane."
