Who would you play as a defensive midfielder or as a normal midfielder?

Jared Carmichael
TSI = 630 , 18 years, solid form
Has disastrous experience and weak leadership abilities
Stamina: inadequate Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: passable
Winger: poor Defending: weak
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: poor

or

Etienne Genner
TSI = 470 , 21 years, passable form
Has wretched experience and passable leadership abilities
Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: weak
Winger: poor Defending: inadequate
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: weak

HAM has Genner rated slightly higher, but I am not sure if they take form into account. If you have any advice it would be great. Thanks

Genner should play the "extra" IM. Try to put Jared in an offensive IM slot.

If you want to play a middie defensive, Genner would do it more effectively (vice versa for passing). If you have to choose between them for a single midfield slot, then use Genner -- I think the stamina difference outweighs the form difference, even for an offensive slot (which Genner can play, albeit not particularly effectively). The extra level of experience for Genner is another bonus, although I doubt it would make a significant difference.

If you are chosing 1 over the other go with Jared... at 18 he trains faster and in the long run your team will be better off with him getting that training... if you have a must win game then go with Genner, but remember that sometimes u dont realistically have a shot at promoting and u have to do what's best for your team in the long run, rather than trying to promote into a series that may be too competitive for you.

Did I miss the part where he said he was training Playmaking? :)

I am definitly not training playmaking. This spot in the midfield is the weakest position on my team by far. I am waiting for a serviceable youth pull, or to buy atleast a solid as soon as I get some loot. I am in first right now in D6 and have lots of wingers popping all the time. I am going to sell a couple when I get promoted. Until then I have to use these garbage players. Genner gets the call this weekend. Like any election, majority rules.

Thanks Everyone!

Genner scored a pretty big goal for me this weekend in a 3-2 game. Ultra thanks.
