I've been with Ajax for 4 years now and need to replinish my youth team. How do you find 15-16 year old players? I've had my scouts looking for them in Holland and Belgium, but they are coming up empty...so how do you rebuild the youth system?
You should get many new players generated each off season on your youth team, especially if you move all the U-18 players up to the U-20 team. Or however the Ajax set up is. You can also request that the board spend more on player development to get improved facilities.

I still haven't picked up my Grays game yet.
I won the Conference South, and I was immeaditely rewarded with a job at Kidderminster which I took.
Good news is that they have clinched promotion to League 1.
The main problem is a crap transfer budget and tiny squad. :(

Ronaldinho just won the 2006 World Footballer of the Year award, his second. He also won 2006 European Footballer of the Year and 2006 European Midfielder of the year award. Dede has just received the 2006 European Defender of the year award, a good off-season pick up. Ronaldinho has a 9.00 average rating in 12 league games.
Barca is back on top of the league, leading Betis by 1 point and Real Madrid by 2 after 16 games.

I started a file managing DundeeUtd... it sucks to have no talent, but its kinda fun sometimes too... I have a shot at winning the league w/ no more injuries and hopefully I can move onto another club... no one and I mean NO one will transfer in.

I'm sure some of you already know about this site, but for those that don't, check out http://www.sortitoutsi.net/
They have a ton of user created mods to the game. I've added the logos fro all the teams in England, Brazil, and others, a great new skin (Elegence-highly recomended), new nets to match the skin, new cursor to match the skin, the official premier league ball(very cool), and full kits instead of just shirts.
I highly recomend checking it out.

Some do.
When managers get fired in real life, there are hundreds of applications from people with references from FM and CM.
I'm not kidding either......

I'm in mid February of 2006. I've sputtered a little in the league so I sit in second 1 or 2 points behind Betis. No one is running away with it so I'm sure I'll be there in the end. I've got to go to Madrid soon so that won't be fun. Athletico Madrid has surged into third as well. I beat Bayern Munich 3-0 in the first leg of the knockout stage. I should be able to go to Munich and keep that lead. I'm also in the semi-finals of the League Cup for the third year in a row.
My manager status has been increased to World Class.

I am sitting fifth after five games in the premiership after ties with Man U and Chelsea and a big 5-1 thrasing of Leeds... though my assistant claims that I have "no chance" of avoiding relegation with my roster!!! I find that every year I decline to answer the media question at the beginning of the year on "how will you do" I do really well...

My La Liga season is done for. I've lost or tied the worst matches. Right now I am fighting to retain third place, I can't slip to fourth. Betis is running away with the league. However, I am in the semis of the League Cup and Quarter Finals of the Champions League. In the Champions League I am playing Betis. They've been really hot but I'm hoping their league play will tire them out.

Well, Inter has dashed my Champions League hopes again. They put me out of the tourney two seasons ago in the first knockout stage and now this year in the semi-finals. Drat! I lost the first leg in Milan 2-0. I beat them 2-1 in Barcelona but they had that away goal so I needed to put 4 on them. Couldn't do it. Adriano is a machine for them in 2007.
I have two games left in the league and Betis has already clinched the title, no repeat for me. I am in the final of the league cup for the third year and should be able to beat Osuana to retain the cup for a third year running.
I wanted that Champions League bad. Real Bad.

What kind of tactical changes do you managers make when you play a match in high altitude? When my New England Revolution visit the Colorado Rapids in Invesco, I always struggle there as my players tire out from the altitude. Actually, the Rapids players seem to tire out before mine do (I check their fitness levels as the match drags on), but my players always seem to give up goals late in the first half and after the 70th minute. I've tried changes in Tempo, Closing Down, and Width, but it doesn't seem to do much from stopping the inevitable (probably lack of familiarity with a new tactic may also be a factor in poor performance). Has anyone found more effective tactics for high altitude matches?

I haven't played at Invesco since CM4. I don't usually make any adjustments. I'd imagine you can slow down your team pace to make sure they don't run themselves ragged. Don't have tackling set to hard and don't close down quickly. All those things make your team run around a lot more getting them tired. Does WWSM/FM take altitude into account?

Does WWSM/FM take altitude into account?
FM does. My players' fitness level go down about 30% quicker at Invesco than they do anywhere else.
I guess I'll go back to the drawing board and work on my "4-4-2_BumperPool" tactic in preparation for my next Invesco trip... :p

got the new machine running.
1 gig of ram and a Pentium 4 like 2.somthing gigahertz. The game is fast as hell. My recommended setup is 23 leagues, but I usually do less than that so it goes faster.
I'm about 2 months into the season with UCD in the Irish First Division. i'm out of one of the cups, lost away to Shamrock Rovers and am facing Shelbourne in the other cup and that match is away, not looking forward to that one. I'm 5 points off the leaders in 4th place. I think the first place gets promoted automatically and the 2nd and 3rd teams have a playoff, not sure though

I'm in the process of picking out my next computer. I've had the current one for 4 years so my recommended setup was 3 leagues!
I can't wait to see the game fly on my new Athlon 64 FX-55, 2g of Kingston ram, and my 400g of raid0 storage. Now I've just got to buy a few games to test out the SLI dual GeForce 6800 Ultra 256mb videocards. :p :D
