Here's the Ronaldo story as it appeared on skysports:

Cristiano Ronaldo insists Manchester United are not out of the title race despite defeat to Portsmouth at the weekend.

The Portuguese winger feels The Red Devils are capable of reeling in Arsenal and Chelsea at the top of the table despite trailing both clubs by nine points.

"No, there is still time to come back, I am confident in the team," he told Marca.

"The other day, against Arsenal, we gave a lesson in how to play under difficult circumstances and take the points.

"We can keep doing that, and I am confident we can reduce the gap little by little."

With the feud following the clash at Old Trafford still simmering, Ronaldo showed there is room for good sentiment between the sides by paying tribute to Jose Antonio Reyes.

When asked which players he most enjoyed watching, he declared: "Here at Manchester we have (Ruud) van Nistelrooy who is a phenomenon both on the pitch as well as off it.

"When I sit down in front of the telly I try to enjoy others, like (Thierry) Henry, (Zinedine) Zidane, (Luis) Figo or Deco.

"I would also pick out Reyes, the Spaniard. I believe his football has been very positive for Arsenal and for English football in general.

"His speed is very noticeable, as well as his ability to play out wide or as a second striker."

The former Sporting Lisbon star also spoke of his happiness with life in England, and the chances afforded to young players.

"In The Premiership they give opportunities to youngsters that maybe in Spain or Italy they wouldn't get.

"Here we have the example of Cesc Fabregas, the Spaniard at Arsenal.

"He has a lot of talent, but have you seen how old he is? He is just 17, but Arsene Wenger has already given him his chance and little by little he is adapting."

Do you see any of that being used in the original post? Thought not. That's what my post was in reference to. How an Arsenal fan is able to complain about an article by Ronaldo is ridiculous, considering the amount of Arsenal players who have been in the press recently.

Suprisingly, over the years, The Sun has had some of the most savvy sports writers around! It's just a shame how they usually put their talents to work???
