I was just watching the replay and I see all these lines on the field. What were they for?

They mentioned on the telecast a rugby league (or union) game had recently been played there.

I figured that. Cue: what an outrage to see lines all over the field. :p

The Premiership will never be taken seriously so long as these outrages against soccer continue to occur.

Yeah, without soccer specific stadia, an increased salary cap and revamped playoff structure, the league will always continue to struggle.

Imported sports like Calcio will always be forced to play with Rugby lines on the field, the British have proven reluctant to flock to entertainment products from other countries, and there are too many other alternatives for the entertainment dollar. The media hates the sport, what with the minimal opportunities to insert commercials in the non stop play. Plus all those nil nil results are bloody boring.
