Former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri is remaining tight-lipped on rumors that he could move for Scott Parker.

The Italian signed the England international in a £10million deal from Charlton when he was still in charge at Stamford Bridge.
However, a change of manager has led to a change of fortune for Parker, who has hardly had any game-time under Jose Mourinho.

It has led to talk that the 24-year-old could go out on loan to Valencia, but Ranieri is giving nothing away as to whether he could make a move for the midfielder.

"I know there have been rumours saying I would like to take Scott on loan at Valencia," he said. "But I don't think now is the right time to be talking about signing players.

"All I will say is that I think it is up to Scott Parker to decide his own future. Only he knows if he is happy at Chelsea and happy with the amount of time he is playing.

"Scott will know in his mind what he wants to do, if he feels he is unlucky at Chelsea he will make the right decision, I am sure."

Who thinks this will happen?

Considering that Ranieri is hanging by a thread at the moment it seems unlikely.

Also now that the cups have started in england Scotty will get more games for Chelsea.

As it happens, I don't think he would be a starter for valencia anyways.

Why do you think he's hanging by a thread? He's got Valencia in third place of a very tough La Liga.

In Valencia, as opposed to West London, I don't think being in third place at the end of October is reason for a sacking. I think Claudio's doing just fine. I think it would be good for Scott to go on loan, as he would get good minutes in Valencia. The continental experience would also make him more effective in the CL for us in years to come.

Che (valencia) suffered a 5-1 defeat in the CL vs. Inter, were Beaten 1-0 by Real Madrid in la liga & 2-1 by Sevilla the week before, they were knocked out of the King's Cup the other day, and last year's top scorer (Mista) is wanting to leave.

if things don't perk up fast he may be gone in dec-jan.

Valencia, last year one of the best defenses in all of Europe, destroyed by Ranieri, yea he is hanging by a thread.
