I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere on BigSoccer:
"World Traveler," NorthWest Airlines' magazine's (you know, the thing in your seat-back pocket) cover story for September 2002 is about Tony Sanneh and US soccer. There really isn't any ground breaking info in the article, but it's 6 pages (3 text/3 pictures) of positive commentary on US soccer and interview with Tony. And there is a giant picture of Tony on the cover (with no other cover pictures to draw your attention away).
Like most non-soccer-magazine articles on the game in the US, the article speaks mostly about soccer's growing acceptance in the states. If you're in an airport (and not flying NorthWest) in the few weeks you may walk over to a NorthWest gate and ask one of the employees for a copy of September's "World Traveler."
