Alright, forget about that crap performance by Crew the other night in N.E. Next Sunday, we're at home, in the late afternoon/evening for Game 2 of the home-and-home series. I have confidence that we will come out guns a'blazin' and really stick it to the Revs early and often in this match.

So, let's get things started right that day...V-Army tailgate, gets going around NOON OR 1PM -ISH in the southwest corner of the paved parking lot. Come one, come all.

And let's get into the stadium early, say 4:45pm we're already in the section, ready for player intros. Bring your well-rested voice and be ready to chant for Crew all game long!

GO CREW! BEAT THE REVS.

Thirded. Any interest in jersey flag, being it the most important playoff game ever?

This being on national TV and all, you might want to do the jersey flag after we score, the ESPN guys got some good shots of the San Jose fans yesterday.

Personally, I would just say scratch the jersey flag for this game, despite the great visual effect it creates.

I'd say we definitely need to bring out the City of Columbus and Crew logo flags, though. I think they do a better job of focusing attention on the actual singing/chanting section of the north end.

Jersey flag seems to anger more people that it impresses, especially since this game should be close to sold-out and there will be a lot of "newborn" Crew fans in the north end.

Point taken. First time in the 5+ years, i've heard that it angers people, but if there's a lot of newbies in the north end sections, then we can keep it away.

Columbus flag will be there. I can work on getting the Crew logo flag there too.

I think when we had the pole with the 2 flags on it(the one Brutus was waving) that looked really cool.

Yeah. We'd probably need to contact the FO so we can bring it through the gates.

I go in to games early, I might be able to take it in with me and leave it in 137, but i'd suggest talking to Scott and seeing what he says.

I've got the flagpole at my house right now. I'll have it at the tailgate when I get there around noon-1pm. You can take it in then if you'd like, or if you need it earlier than that, let me know.
