Here in the Raleigh-Durham area, Time Warner cable lost their feed of the ManUtd v. Arsenal game at just about the halftime whistle and they never got their feed back. I was curious if similar problems were experienced elsewhere (other cable InDemand systems or DISH/DirectTV?).

There was a point in the game where a play was replayed as though it was live, but I fortunately did not experience the same thing you did. Were you up in arms? Did you call and bitch? That sucks! I feel for you.

ouch!

I saw someone else post in a ManU-Arse thread that they didn't get to watch the first half. They were out on the pacific coast.

Sure, I was frustrated. I had a few mates over at the house to watch the game. TimeWarner said they'd refund my money, which is appropriate I guess. But what can you do beyond get a refund?

My feed from Charter went out for a second but came back instantly.

My feed through Dish Network was fine except during the early stages of the game. At one point Bergkamp kicked the ball and then about 2 seconds later the same play happened again almost as if the broadcast was on a delay.

Although Dish has been ditching out of the satellite feed IMMEDIATELY after the final whistle. Very annoying.

Which heightens my suspicion that it was the TWC-NC folks here in the Triangle were asleep at the wheel. I was on the phone the minute I saw the preview/purchase screen come up instead of the PPV feed. Took 15 minutes to get a human, who proceeded to tell me they "were aware of the problem." HAd people over to my place or it, too.

And they must still be sleeping. 42 minutes into today's ManUtd v. Portsmouth game, the PPV feed is gone again. Unbelievable.

I lost mine twice......the audio went out as they were showing a Euro lottery game graphic and then the picture went out as they showed an ad for a Gram Parsons tribute concert.

Save your money and listen to it live online.

Manchester United feeds are available through Century105.

And if you get FSW, you can always watch/tape/DVR it when it's aired on Tuesday or Wednesday night, depending on whether it was played on Saturday or Sunday.

I don't have the self restraint to not know the score and watch it later. If I listen to it, I'm not gonna watch it unless it is just an outstanding game.

BTW, I only lost my feed today for about 2 minutes total.

on dish network i only experienced that bergkamp deja vu. i thought it was my setup, since my dish is not finely tuned (it got bumped and i'm moving in 2 days so why bother?)
