Dale United!! If we can make it to the Final I say we take it all. Nowak has the boys (and us fans!) beileving in our team again.

Being a DC United fan I hope they win it. Still I don't think anyone can underestimate the post season power of Landon Donovan especially when it might be his last MLS hurrah
DC v SJ in the final and that would be a great match.
Adu v Donovan

Although the Crew lost their first match to NE, they are still a force to be reckoned with.

I completely agree with that and it would not surprise me at all if the Crew dismantle NE. DC/Crew would be a good one for sure.

Adu v Donovan
It's a damn shame that Lando's heading to Europa. This really could've been our Bird-Johnson type of rivalry.

with the final in LA, gotta believe the best for all concerned, especially the MLS is a Gs-DCU final. Just look at the players with Kiro, Ruiz, Moreno, Eko, Adu et all...fantastic. Yes, Golden Boy won't be there but you can't have everything. HDC just won't have the level of energy and ambiance with SJ in place of LA, God forbid, KC...An LA-SJ semi will be good enuf.
cheers

I see more of this type of ravalry in a Gaven-Adu matchup...no? But in the same league for the Atlantic Cup and similar ages.

Good points but I really would like to see Adu in his first year and Lando in his (potentially) last year face each other in the Final. And I know I don't know what I'm talking about but I think (think being the key word) that there would be lots of fans there; Galaxy ones, others, even non-soccer fans that would show up to see it.

It would be the symbolic passing of the torch from Lando to Adu as the poster child of MLS.

DC is definitely the hottest team right now. When they are clicking I don't think anyone can stop them. Moreno, Gomez & Eskandarian are looking like the top attack in the league and their ball control doesn't allow the other team to mount a sustained attack.
Final will be DC 3 - LA 1

I gotta say that DCU is looking great right now. Yeah Cbus is doing pretty good too but DCs really come together and the passion is there. On the Westside, I biased because I still got my NorCal pride, but I think SJ can handle LA no problem.
DC 3 -SJ 2.
Bring the Cup to DC and show MLB that RFK is OUR HOUSE!

Well Columbus is out and San Jose is out
So much for Landon vs Adu
So I'm going with DCU v LA...that STILL would be a great match up. These two have been the ManU and Arsenal of MLS so far.

I think DC is the clear favorite now, but they can't overlook New England. It seems every year Steve Nicol knows what to do in the playoffs. He should have a clinic for Andrulis, with Nowak as a guest speaker. It should be a very interesting matchup. My prediction is that DC wins a tight game 1-0 and plays Kansas City for the cup. MLS Cup will be 2-1 for DC!
There is no ManU versus Arsenal of MLS. The league has done everything in its power to prevent that.

Kansas City have been very impressive and winning the double would be a great outcome for them. DC United have are into top gear at the right time of the season so they are also deserved winners. But i think That DC might pull off the win come November 14th.
