Anyone seen it? Contrary to the impression you might have gotten from the trailers, it's actually quite enjoyable. My roommate has the DVD and it wins converts everytime we play it.

"Littering and, littering and, littering and, littering and..."

"Oh, I got you good, you f***er!"

"License and registration, meow."

Actually, my friend invited me over her house the other night specifically to watch Supertroopers after 15 minutes of promising me that it was genuinely worth seeing. Of course, I didn't end up going, but I've heard that from a number of people now.
I am truly surprised by that.

I agree completely. I thought it would be crap but I convinced into watching it. I ended up watching it by myself really expecting to hate it. But within the first opening moments with the situation comedy with what the police did with the speeder, then the speeder doing what he did. I just imagined what it looked like to those kids. Hahhaa.

The first 15 minutes of that movie ranks up there with the funniest 15 minutes I have ever seen in movie history.

I had no interest in seeing it when it was in the theaters but a friend of mine kept telling me that I should rent it. I'm glad he did. It's ******* hilarious.

Same thing happened to me. I ended up buying the dvd about a month ago and just watched it a week ago. That's a funny freaking movie. The opening scene w/ the stoners has to be one of the all-time funniest scenes in comedic film history.
Not a bad indy film at all, pretty well produced, and it's nice to see some semi-mainstream cameos in there as well (Jim Gaffigan, Lynda Carter).

A good mix of a good writing, acting, and timely jokes.

Man, I must be really out of it, because I thought it was the worst movie I've ever seen. But keep in mind I haven't seen alot of movies.

I didn't think it was funny at all.

It was so bad it forced me to institute a new policy, that any movie that does not tell you any bit of the storyline in its commercials has got to be horrible.

Jokes and gags not funny. No female nudity, male nudity. Boring and slow story.

I agree that the story was slow and a bit boring at times, but the first 15 minutes and the ending were completely hilarious. To me, the ending is better than the beginning, but everyone disagrees.

yeah, i could've done w/out the farva shot as well. Maybe your sense of humor just isn't right for the movie.

But nothing beats the line: "You know those boys get that syrup in them and they get all antsy in their pantsy."

but funny as hell too.

especially when u think that it's 'little a' (Ramathorne's kid) jumping on the bed, not the german couple. And the mustache ride thing.

Overall a great movie, I saw it about two months ago (friend at a video store got it really early) and couldn't wait to buy the DVD. First 15 minutes... absolutely hilarious. Pretty much all the movie's best lines come from that first scene, I can't believe those kids weren't in more of the movie. The kid who ate all the drugs had the greatest facial expressions... there's this one shot where you see his face and the cops approaching through the back window, and the look on his face is just priceless. And when the cop wants them to smoke the last bag and the way he says "Please no." Other favorite parts are the "Littering AND... littering AND... littering AND" and the fast food guy and Farva arguing about the biggie size meal.

I totally forgot about the Afghanistanimation scene. I agree with whomever brought it up that it could've been much better.

Would you like to Dimpi-size that for only a quarter more?
Want me to punchisize your face, for free?

A What? Do we have Ledercola?

I don't want a large farva I want a God damn liter of cola.

I don't know what that is!?

"Liter" is french for give me some f_cking cola before i break your f_cking head

The de-lousing thing is funny too.

Sorry about that Rod, the de-lousing is standard procedure.

It's powdered sugar..

It's delicious.
