Huth denies quit claims (http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.asp?hlid=231483&cpid=8&CLID=&lid=2&title=Huth+denies+quit+claims)
Robert Huth has denied handing Chelsea an ultimatum regarding his future.
The German defender was quoted as saying that he would look to move on after Christmas if he had not been given a first team chance by Blues coach Jose Mourinho.
Huth has admitted Mourinho was angered by the reports and summoned him to his Stamford Bridge office for an explanation.
The 20-year-old suggests that his comments had been translated incorrectly from an interview he had given to the German media and claims that he is prepared to fight for his place at Stamford Bridge.
"The manager was not happy with what he read in the papers," Huth told Chelsea TV. "I said to him that I did not say those things and would love to stay here.
"I only gave interviews to the German press and sometimes with the translation, there might be mistakes.
"So I showed him the German papers and said he could get his own translation if he wanted, and he was happy with it and we're all good now.
"I never said anything about my situation. I did not have a reason to say I want to go or am not happy."
Huth continued by admitting it is frustrating to sit on the sidelines while the team are performing well.
"Obviously I want to play, but at the moment I'm a bit short of games, but that's football," he added.
"The manager has to make his decisions and at the moment I'm not playing.
"I have been in this situation for the last three years, so it is nothing new for me.
"I would be more than pleased to play, but if I don`t, I just have to work hard and keep my head down."
