A Chelsea friend of mine thought it was very plausible that both clubs could go the season unbeaten (drawing with each other obviously). Do you all think its possible? Or just you guys or just us or neither and how much of a possibility or impossibility would that scenario be?
I've asked some Gooners and I won't post their reaction..haha..

Let's not too carried away with this undefeated thing, for either Arsenal or Chelsea.
We're only 8 games through this season and we haven't hit cup play or gotten out of group stages of the CL. This is way too premature. Last year was so remarkable for Arsenal, just because it had only happened in the inaugural season, and yet there are lots of Arsenal fans who seem to think going undefeated is our birthright. Ain't going to happen again. Our challenge is just to win a second consecutive title, also not a given. And Chelsea are still living too close to the edge to rashly consider going undefeated.
But, tell you what, if both teams are still undefeated after 20 April (the date of our last meeting), then we'll talk. But too soon now...

I somehow don't think that we will be going unbeaten again. I certainly don't think Chelsea will. No offense, but at somepoint you will get hit on the break.... and hard.

'bout time you lot put an asterisk beside all this bloody unbeaten bollox.
Example.
Arsenal fan blah, blah, blah, blah, we went *unbeaten last season, blah blah blah.
*League play only, as we were thumped by the eyeties and fell on our arses to Chels in the champs league.
Thank you!

Oh, I dunno - we have a lovely pre-season here!!
By the way i never thanked you for your little thred on Stockholm. Im not sure whether you heard, but there was an air traffic controll strike in Norway the week of the Rosenborg game, so although most Arsenal fans went home and didn't fly, I and a few others decided to fly to Sweden and travel overland. We had a day in Stockholm and I used a few things in your Stockholm thread in travel!!
Very helpful old chap.

Well as wise is really an offshoot of clever and intelligent, then yes - I guess he is wise as he has very cleverly remembered a thread that is there for the sole purpose of talking about whether Chelsea could follow Arsenal and remain unbeaten throughout a season. Now as that didn't happen, it seems to me that the purpose of the thread is no longer relevent and therefore as a Moderator on this board maybe you should close it........ but then as usual old people take their time........... :D (laughing as he runs back to the only unbeaten team in the Prem!!!)
