Random LFC sighting

I was reading a magazine at the time, and I just about pissed myself. I thought they were doing a sit down interview with Diouf. The segment's still going. . . this is like a full four minutes of confusing the American public. I'll take the free publicity.

Anyone else had any random brushes with LFC stuff in the American media? (Aside from the obvious Formula 51 stuff . . .)

I remember a few years ago, Nomar Garciaparra made more than one public appearance wearing a LFC jersey. He was endorsing Reebok at that time, and I imagine it's the same deal - Reebok gives him free gear to wear when he's on TV and he happened to like the LFC jersey.

I saw that last night. It was last years jersey, and although the camera rarely went low enough to show more than half the badge, it was still funny to see it.

Lanky's comments aside, Nomah played football in high school and is a big fan of the USMNT. How do you think he ended up with Mia? -- I understand he went after her,. It's not unreasonable that a youth soccer fan in his late twenties could be an LFC fan all by his lonesome. :D
