You've propably seen this all before but I need some new footy boots & I've got my selection to Adidas Preds, Puma Cellerators & the Nike Mercurial Vapors.I like the Vapors but I wonder if they'll be uncomfy coz I play in midfield. Sam :)

Many people find the vapors uncomfortable, position has no effect how comfortable they are but the size and shape of your foot probably does.

Its upto you at the end of the day. We can all post what boots we like but they just might not be the one for you. You need to try them on and see which one suits you best or which one you feel will bring the most to your game.
Personally i wear Vapors. I know a LOT of people slate them. But i've never had any trouble with blisters or any kind of pain in my foot from wearing them. But like i said i think they are the best boot for me.
It doesnt matter where you play. If you like vapors then get some. But make sure you get the right size. Thats when you tend to get blisters. They are pretty tight when you first have them but they do give.
But my advise is just go with what feels comfy. Remember boots are the most important piece of kit you take on the pitch with you. So just get whats best for you. Not whats a fashion or a trend.

well i have tried on all of them and owned the cellerators and vapors. if you want comfort puma is a good choice but the vapors are lighter of course and give you a good touch on the ball but as applecorr said it's your choice.

If you need a no nonsense comfy boot I'd look for Umbro Specialis. Really flexible, comfortable and have a lovely kangaroo leather top. I've had numerous pairs of them.
Out of your list however, I've found Pumas and the Vapors to be quite narrow so the Preds would be my choice. I'd say try them all on and see what feels best for you.

in my opinion, vapors are only for strikers and attacking mids. if you're looking for confortabilty, try the pulse. i'm not too sure bout cellarators but i heard from a fren who has those that they are confortable. but pulse's are the best

i agree wholly with applecorr. vapors however are not restricted to strikers/attacking based players, im a center back and i wear vapors, and theyre awesome, the lightness helps to track back and ive NEVER had any problem with my vapor2's .. theyre comfy and fit like a sock.

I'd got for some vapors if you have narrow feet. If you get the right size they will fit like a glove and give you a fantastic feel of the ball. I dont think i could wear any other boot now. They are the best boot i have ever worn!

I don't think you have to have narrow feet to wear vapors and be comfortbale. I'm naturally flat footed and have wide feet, but throught the help of showering with the vapors, shoe stretcher spray and wearing 2 pairs of socks in them right after applying the shoe stretch, they feel awesome

Got some Preds 2day, they fitted perfect just like the other Preds I've had. I didn't get to try on the Cellerators or Vapors but I'm happy with my choice. Thanx every1! Sam

I'm 37, striker, 5'10, 200 lbs +.
I've got a flat foot and wicked pronation.
The only show that worked for me was Kelme Master Evo.
In fact I found that that buying them a 1/2 size smaller than my reg. shoe size gave me the perfect fit.
