1) why does every indie rock band in America have the same haircut and need to incoperate a gimmick?


2) anyone watch 120 minutes last week? I'm sorry that I did, but there was one good song. I need to know who did it. the chorus said something about water and a guy going "whooaa whooooaaaa". the singer was sitting down watching TV and then he left and joined the band on the TV and a little girl was watching the tv.

Fixed your post. Metal bands have usually been among the worst conformers. They've almost always looked like they're stuck in the mid 70s. It wasn't until the late 90s that a few of them DIDN'T have hair like Robert Plant circa 1974.

regardless nick heyward (i'm spellin that wrong somehow) had a decent solo album back when, "the apple bed" or something like that.

Nick Heyward seen here in concert many years ago. Not a bad show. Lacked the horn section, but good.

As for the question about all having the same haircut, it's because this is what moves product. Can't help with the section question at all.

Both. But to be honest, I thought Flaunt the Imperfection one of the most perfect little smooth albums ever recorded. Did Walter Becker do lots of production with other bands?
