Why would he want to go to a Coca-Cola Championship club? He is better than that. Chelsea could recall him on an EPL team.
Same with Parker. He is better than playing at effin' Wigan.

Glen Johnson would walk in to most Premiership teams, he is far too good for CCC football.

I don't buy this. Why would Johnson ask for a loan to a CCC club? Not to mention that we'd be stuck with Billy as our only backup. I hope Mourinho gives Johnson some playing time soon, even if its on the right wing.
Parker and Geremi I don't overly care about. Johnson I do not want to lose!

FWIW, the Westham forum has a thread on rumours that Johnson may be loaned back to them.

Oh, I know. Then again, there are people in the Liverpool forum discussing Vicente, Bridge and Gallas.

Is sven punishing chelsea because they did not out bid the fa?
Lamp is too good too keep off but sven has talked a lot of smack about how Parker, GJ, and Cole are or are not being used and how it is hurting their chances, while Rio walks straight back on to the team, after 2 matches, and the talentless Neville, Phil obviously, gets a role ahead of GJ.
sven, I will not change, even reworked his whole formation and is talking about playing both A. Cole and King out of position rather than play J. Cole in the position he plays for Chelsea.
Hopefully much of this complaining is media hype, though I have less problems, with the way GJ has wanted to set it up if true, though I am sure JM wants him learning from him than another manager, if he is in his longterm plans.
Nine game into the season, before cup play or CL has really heated up, before fatigue and injuries have come into play, 3 monthes before the transfer window opens, seems like a silly time to complain and piss off JM and the supporters.
As Nice said earlier send the whiners to Wise for a loaner[(edit add), well actually I think he said that only about Mutu, in his usual style, don't want to put words in his mouth], so either that or let them enjoy a relegation battle at Blackburn instead of chasing glory home and abroad.

You're right...that's silly. Everyone knows Gallas is going to Arsenal. :D

It's obvious that Ferreira is Mourinho's favourite and Mourinho will not drop him no matter how good Johnson is. Given this kind of situation of course Johnson will want to move on.
Fact is, Johnson and Parker are not happy warming the benches and it wouldn't be long before they leave Chelsea. There will be lots of clubs that will want them (Aston Villa and Everton comes into mind. Heck, who knows with Arsenal looking for a right-back maybe Johnson will be playing for us one day) :D

Or wait his turn.

That's not a fact, that's an unsubstantiated opinion.

Sure. And maybe Sol will be playing for us next year.

Glen Johnson is like a younger, less experienced, right sided version of Ashley Cole, except with much better crossing. If you get rid of him, you'll regret it massively in a couple of seasons. With a bit more development, he can be a great player.

As I understand it a loan would be to a Championship team as then he can be recalled by Chelsea with 24 hours notice. If it's a Premiership team then I think they can only be recalled in the transfer windows.
So if he was at West Ham he would play for them, but would easily be able to come into Chelsea for the occasional training session, and if there was an injury to Ferreira then he could be recalled by the next day.

Why does Chelsea do all of these loans? I mean do they ever have any intention of playing Carlton Cole or Mikael Forssell outside of an injury crisis? They talk about loaning Parker and Glen Johnson now too. Why are they holding on to these players and just loaning them? It is obvious that Chelsea has more money than anyone and can buy whomever they want to. It seems quite clear to me that no matter how good Carlton Cole gets, he will never be in the starting 11 for Chelsea. The same can be said for Forssell. I know it is tough to get rid of good, young players, but with the money the club has, I do not think it would be an issue. While Chelsea is a great team and Mourinho is solidifying his starting 11, he is seemingly making some players upset. This was bound to happen at some point though with the amount of quality on the team. Why not just cut these loaners loose for good?

I think that Johnson and Parker both have cause to seek opportunities to play for other clubs. Parker is a lost cause, he will never be anything big at Chelsea as there is too much competition at his position and the manager has 3 players ahead of him. Johnson has a shot at some playing time and since he is younger than Parker there is a shot at him staying with the club, however I feel that Parker will really want to move on.
Parker and Johnson are good players and while I understand you want to play your best squad and not just give people a run out, you can understand if Parker and Johnson are upset.

I agree with your basic points but I think Nicephoras has said in the past that Parker is only an injury to Makalele away from starting. For that reason alone I can understand why Chelsea would not want to let him go.
I would NOT be surprised, however, if either Johnson and/or Parker would WANT to go. One of the Chelsea supporters mentioned that they should stay so as to be able to go after "glories" as opposed to fighting relegation. The problem is that young players...especially good ones like Parker and Johnson want to play above almost everything else. Us fans look at it from the view of trophies but for a young player.....they want to play regularly first and foremost even if it means starting for a lesser side. If they feel that they're never going to get a shot at regular time for Chelsea....I can't blame them for possibly wanting to leave.
