Both desire worker programs, but after 9/11 Bush had a hard time getting it through.
Kerry looks to give some "legalization" to illegals who stay clean, pay taxes and have gringo babies!
If I can't decide, this alone may push me towards Kerry.

quienes DEL FORO PIENSAN VOTAR EN NOVIEMBRE?

the problem with kerry is the thing would go back to the clinton days el farc y la eln quedarian no como terroristas si no revolutionarios asi son los democratas queres que los paises europeas siguen apoyando a terroristas colombianos? con bush tenemos la seguridad que eso no pasra y si cualquer cosa pasa con los venezolanos ello nos apoyadaron los democratas solo se interesen en estar en favor con los europos si caulquer pais europeo quere apoyar el farc o la eln lo quitaron de la lista de terroristas solo para mantenerlos como aliados eso esta mal

democrat kerry is not trustworthy he thinks abortion is wrong but supports it because his party tells him too if his party tells him to change FARC status to being non-terrorist group he will do that he has shown no willingness do continue the war on terrorism all he will be able to be is a weak president who will never amount to nothing and whos word will be laughted at by all just like clinton who promised to stop terrorism but never did

Kerry is 50 times the man that Bush is.
Yeah and he changes his policies and his beliefs 50 times a day too. "I voted for the war but then I voted against the war. I believed in it, but then again I don't believe in it. I voted for the weapons program and the I voted against it." FLIP-FLOPPER!!!

Why is Bush an idiot because he doesnt agree with what you think because hes willing to stop terrorist and anyone who helps them or supports them or anyone who has done terrorist acts in the past? in the same way then uribe is a idiot the people get the president they deserve and if kerry gets elected into office the people will deserve the terrorist attacks they will receive !

Generally, for us Chileans, it would be better if Bush won. If Bush had not been in power, Chile would have not gotten that free trade agreement that the government of Lagos takes so much good credit for. Republicans are much more willing to negotiate in better terms with Latin American countries because they are not as over protective with their economy as Democrats would be. Economically, Bush would favor more American enterpreneurship in Latin America, and that just opens up more opportunities for Latin companies.
Personally, though, I like Kerry better and it all goes down to one single point: fighting a war against terrorism is an oxymoron. You can't fight fire with fire, and the only thing Bush is doing is attacking the result of a problem that's much deeper. I think Kerry has the understanding and he comprehends that if the US wants to have a better image in the world, they have to start doing things in concensus with the UN and not just act like the big bully in recess time. Bush just makes this world more unstable, and to be honest that's not what our countries need (in Latin America).
Terrorism has to be erradicated, yes, but occupying a country is not the answer. There are many countries that spawn terrorists around the world, and these are not only limited to the middle east. Heck, I don't think a lot of people would like the US invading Colombia in order to get rid of the terrorists there (though I'm sure some would). Terrorism is the result of cultural misunderstanding and economic/social inequality, and diplomacy is a weapon we can use in our favor, and cooperating with the whole world (not alone, by ourselves) the US can get out of this hole.
Kerry also sounds smarter than Bush.
