Hello,
I'm a quiet-sider that has considered spending a game or two on the fun side, but never has. Given that this will be our last regular season game before the baseball fiasco starts and the wife is out of town for this game, I think it's time to get off my lazy butt and give it a try. You guys still swap other tickets at the gate right?
Knowing nothing about the groups or their songs, which of the main three would be the best intro for a quiet-sider?
Thanks,
-dave

Send an email to tickets@screaming-eagles.com to ask about exchange. You can try 133 which might be a good way to ease in (133 is a little less smokey and less beer tossed but still all standing and cheering).

Oscar can switch any ticket into 135/136 one (of course equal or greater value)
I'd say go for SE section, you can allways check out both groups from there (since BB is pretty much GA), I did that my first game.
Few of the songs are on http://barra-brava.com/ but you can easily just pick them up by listening. Others are made up on spot.
Welcome.

I would agree with Srdan (Bulldog) get your ticket with EITHER the Barra Brava (just walk up to the BB ticket window by Lot 8) or SE's because you can easily bounce with both. I would say skip the SE quite side 133 though and stand with us between 134/135 to get the REAL experience. IF you get tired of it you can always move to the left or right for relative safety. :D
--The pros of the Barra are the FREE BEER/Food tailgate (check here for directions: http://www.barra-brava.com/tailgates/index.asp ), AND the General Admission aspect of our tickets. With the Barra Brava you can simply stand where you want to in ANY PART of the two sections. People forget we have a "quite side" as well where many guys families/wives/disgruntled girlfriends/ tired old guys like me sit/stand. :D
Of course, no matter where you sit it will be good to see you there!

I think you should treat yourself and just get a ticket for either 134 or 135 and then just start up high and work your way down. Outside of the first three rows of section 134, it is all general admission. My "seats" are somewhere around row 6 seat 10, but I usually don't get within three seats of there for most games.
One note about the aisle and section 135: this is generally where the drums congregate. Hence, if you are prone to headaches, like me, then you might want to slide away from the aisle at times. All the drummers have taken to using earplugs, that should tell us something.
Regardless of where you end up, take an aspirin or two before hand and drink water before coming to the game. I can guarantee you will leave without your voice, so also consider picking up gatorade for the drive home. Unlike the quiet side, you need to be in mid-season form to keep up with the bouncy crowd.
Cheers,
Tim

Go for the whole shabang and join us in the Barra, for one of the last possible bouncy games, against the Scum no less :O
I cant tell you how glad I am I joined the Barra in the probable last year of bouncing

Sounds like the consensus is 134/135 (K, thanks for the tip about 133, but just cause i'm a quiet-sider doesn't mean i'm quiet/calm :D) so i'll give it a try.
I'll be the guy with the LS Reyes Jersey not drinking (just not my thing). I hope to get to meet some/all of you.
Now to try to convince my brother-in-law to go over there too (using the wife's ticket).
Thanks,

Now lets not push it. I can only sign up to be so much of an extrovert per day :)

The Barra window was closed by the time I got there and 134 was sold out :( so I ended up in 133. Next time I MUST be in 134 or 135, 133 was just too tame for what I expected.
Still a blast though. Didn't get to meet anyone, oh well next time I suppose.

Could have walked into 135, we don't care where you stand as long as you're loud. I think half the time my ticket says 136 anyway :)

Missed a world class tailgate too. Fried turkey and too much to mention.
