I noticed recently while watching FSW, that the audio was delyed. MLS wrap and World Report looked like an old kung fu movie with bad dubbing. Anyone else having the same problem?

were you watching a recording (like on a tivo or similar device) or watched MLS wrap on saturday night and had none of those issues.

Actually, it happened twice. Once last nihgt when watching FS World Report and sunday when watching MLS Wrap. It was a stright feed from my digital cable box, no TIVO or VCR involved.
I live in Northern, VA. I wonder if it's a problem my cable system is having or maybe if it's a problem with my box?

I've noticed that several times myself.

Well at least now I know that my cable box is not the problem.

I've experienced the same problem for about a week. Cox Cable probably at fault. Haven't noticed anything wrong on any other channel.

I had a similar problem when I had Cox (living in Alexandria, Va.).
A tech guy told me it was a digital compression problem and that the source is the cable company, not the network.

What I'm noticing is even worse. The crowd sounds sound like a two year is pressing the sound button on and off. I noticed that same effect on the Relacore yestderday, too. It's really so bad I can't bear to listen to it.

We're all in Falls Church, using Cox Cable, I presume.

I think so Nancyb.
I need to call Cox and complain,<Caution- rant> but I keep forgetting my stupid PIN and I'm usually too tired to go and dig it out of my files. I hate that ID number that you have to have. I mean, are they my cable company or the FBI?< end rant>

i'd rather have the security of a 4 digit code i can write down and keep somewhere safe rather than have someone that has a grudge order ppv on my account just to run up my bill.

Yeah - that PIN number thing hosed me for the El Salvador match. I tried to order the game at the last minute and had no clue of my PIN. We had to call and wait for a person to order the game.
