Insert "Scholes" for "Henry" and "England/Manchester United" for "France/Arsenal" and the answers would be similar. The only kink is that Scholes also does the business in the Champions League, whereas Henry has underperformed to his level there....

That is a good question. I think the French coaches need to have a serious chat with Arsene Wenger about finding a system that allows for Thierry Henry to showcase his talents as he does at Arsenal. In my opinion he is good enough to change an entire system to suit him. With Vieria and Pires also knowledgable of the Arsenal system, I think the French national team should employ this system. France is too good to be playing the way they are right now.

Henry is one of only 5 players to have 30+ CL goals. Does he tear up the CL like he has the last few years in the Prem? No, but considering the CL is supposed to be CHAMPIONS of each league, ie., the best teams, I would not expect hat-tricks in every CL match.

Just bears the question he only performs well against the lesser clubs sides and is not good enough for CL or National duties.

This is garbage. I think I remember a certain Thierry Henry scoring 3 on your beloved Liverpool on Good Friday last year. Unless you are stating that Liverpool and all the other EPL teams and not good, your reasoning is way off base.

Who cares?! Personally I'd be happier if no Arsenal players played international football.

Because Bergkamp isn't french ......... nah not just that. The style of football doesn't play to his strengths, not he alone sucks either, Pires hasn't played well in two years or more. Trez couldn't find the target with a white cane for christ sake.
The arrogance overcame the apptitude and now the work rate and desire from the world cup and euro winners is lacking and the new players coming in might have the desire but lack the same skill levels as those they are replacing.
