As I am sure some of you know, I got arrested tonight during the game. I got arrested because CSC guard 5085 decided that I had spit on him. I denied this to the officer who confronted me and next thing I know, I was face first into a wall being arrested for being beligerant. I don't know who saw this or who knows what, but I need help for what happened next.

From what I saw, my friend came walking up to see what happened and was hit from behind by my arresting officers partner. After being hit, my buddy pushed said officer and then promptly gave up and was arrested. Well, he is currently still in jail, waiting his arraingment on charges of assaulting a police officer.

Basically the entire point of this thread is:

A. To apoligize to anyone for whom I have created an problems.
B. To find people who saw what happened (we need witnesses for his nearly inevitable trial)
C. To let everyone know that I am typing this with one hand because I can't feel my left hand due to the handcuffs that were put on way to tight my requests to loosen them were met with one response of slamming my head against a wall and 4 responses of ******** YOUR HAND MOTHER********ER!!

Also, I wanted to let everyone know that I am mailing off a letter to DC United in the morning expressing my disgust with CSC. Enclosed in my letter will be my one remaining ticket for next weeks match as well as my ticket to the US/Panama match. As much as it pains me to miss those games, I refuse to set foot in that stadium again until DC stands up for their fans for once.

I may be loud, I may be rude, but he flipped me off, and I NEVER spit on him and I think there were more than a couple people there who saw that.

Sorry about the babbling and mispelling, I am real pissed right now and typing with one hand.

If anyone has any info that can help with my buddies defense, please, let me know.

Nick

Good luck getting DCU to stand up against CSC. They're like a virus; they're practically the only security force hired for sporting events. DCU and pretty much everybody have little to no effect on the fact that they hire nothing but malcontents and general rat bastards to harass and occasionally rough up fans.

I'm sure McOwen will have something to say here; he's quite familiar with the "yellow team". ;)

I cant speak to any incidents with the MPD, but I was up in the front row of 135 and no one ever spit on 5085.

Hope everything goes well for your buddy, sounds like he will be facing harsher charges :/

Was 5085 the a$$shole who flipped off the entire section when we put up the "CSC Fan Club" banner?

Exactly. That is what got this whole thing started. He flipped us off, I was one of many that was yelling at him about that, next thing I know, he is telling the police that I spat on him.

I am working on getting a copy of the police report as well as any internal CSC reports. If I find that he did in fact tell the police that I spat on him (they pulled him aside when I kept calling him a liar) I won't rest until he is charged with making a false statement to a police officer.

As far as my buddy goes, I seriously need anyone who saw anything to let me know. He is facing a serious charge and he needs people who were witnesses to step to his defense. If you saw something other than the police officer hit him first, let me know that also, I'm not asking anyone to lie here, I just need to know the truth so we can do what we can to help him out.

Also, anyone know of a good lawyer, we need that also.

Thanks,
Nick

I didn't see anything but the guy flipping us off after we unfurled the banner. I didn't even know the MPD were even involved in anything at all in the section. I wish I could help you, but I can't.

5085 was not in front of our section in the second half. In fact, there were only about three CSC section in the second half. In the first there must've been close to a dozen.

DC United hasn't really done anything to stop the abuse the Barra Brava and Screaming Eagles receive from stadium security, and that bothers me quite a lot.

He, and many of his comrads weren't there because they were busy telling the police all of our "horrible offenses".

According to the one CSC guy (guard 5005) who was actually talking to me like a person and listening to what I had to say, they were there in the first half because they saw a beer thrown in the section. I asked him if anyone had complained about the beer, he said no, no one complained. I pointed out to him that it was totally uneeded for them to go running through the section, like the Secret Service because a beer was thrown in a section where beer is always thrown and no one ever complains about it. He actually agreed with me. He also agreed with me that it was a physical impossibility for me to have spit on 5085, but by that point, the damage had been done.

my advice is for the future. Assume that supporters have no rights, so if you're in situation like that don't wonder off from group to where they can separate you.

5085 was a whiny little bitch who prolly spent first 15 years of his life running home to momma when he got smacked :) There really was no point of arguing with him, from what I saw guy has a mental compacity of a gnat.

The other guy up front seemed totally fine, aside from the fact I'm not sure what their purpose is out there... not like he's going to stop imaginary pitch invasion by himself :D

I just got back from finding my friend. The guy at the 3rd District told me he was never there, which is obviously incorrect since I was there with him. Anyway, we finally tracked him down at the central cellblock where they are holding him while refusing anyone access to him and not allowing him to make any phone calls (I was told that if he wanted to make a call he had to do it at the 3rd District, the same place where they refused to let us make phone calls). His arraignment is in the morning.

Rob's guy is who I'd go with. Unfortunately I really didn't see a lot but 5085 was quite a distance away when he claims he was spit on.

I've been a guest at central cell and it's no picnic. They didn't allow me to make a phone call from 1st district or from central cell. His meeting with the judge will be at the US district court house next to 300 Indiana ave. He'll get shuttled there and have to wait in a ******** hole supervised bu US Marshalls. They ALL are *icks. He'll get to meet with a public defender and it may take till 3:00 before he gets to the court room.

Good luck man.

If he spat at him from that distance I say we call Guinness book of world records...

HAHAHAHA, That was actually one of my requests to my arresting officer. He didn't think it was that great of an idea. Unless "shut your f*%king mouth" means "ok,would you happen to know the number"

All humor aside, it's pretty sad when you have to have a lawyer on speed dial to attend a soccer match. Wonder if these goons will be acting like this when the Senatorexpos play at RFK.

My own experience with the "security" that United uses at RFK is poor and disappointing... CSC guards frequently use profane and gutter language, even when young fans (children) are present, CSC guards stand directly in front of fans on their level and block views, and CSC guards generally are both beligerant and indifferent to paying fans... indeed, some of them go looking for problems (I have personally seen this repeatedly), thus Nick_78 probably got caught up with guards that couldn't care less about the truth. I sympathize with Nick_78 and wish him well, but the issue will not stop until fans raise this issue higher... CSC guards should be given clear notice that there are situations that warrant their attention, but their whole "bad ass" attitude needs to change and their reputation is not good!

That is where I am torn. I was going to make the statement of mailing DC United my remaining tickets along with a letter explaining the situation and telling them I wouldn't be back until something is done about CSC.

My wife seems to think that is letting them "win". She is of the opinion that I should continue to go.

Either way, something needs to be done. I should have the police report today, we'll see what that little $%#^@& &*#&* *#&#$ said, if his lie to the police is in the report, then at least I'll have something to fight with.

For the record, I tend to agree with your wife. This is your team and your sport. Not being their doesn't hurt CSC, it's hurts United. I agree that something obviously needs to be done but boycotting DCU probably isn't the solution.

I went up to the drum circle after all the yelling and finger pointing between you guys and the CSC. The Blue goon supervisor who's seen me many times from the past gave me a look as I walked towards the drum circle. I stopped went back and told him that we were filming him and all his buddies. He was genuinely surprised at that comment. I guess he must of spread the word cause I told one of his yellow goon buddies the same thing a little later and he said "I know"

Me and Marshall then had a long "Free Speech" conversation with one of those dunderheads that didn't seem to get it. He did tell us if we move the drum circle a few feet over to the right there won't be a problem.

They've been put on notice that they're being watched too.
