So Ladies and Gent's, roll up roll up.

Who do you think Rafa will bring in during the January Transfer Window?
Will he even bring in anybody?

Who would you like to see come in, Duff, Gallas, are all been talked about as possible targets.

I personally would like to see a another CB, to partner Sami.

Give me your thoughts

Well, would love to see a good left back coming into the team ,someone like wanye bridge.and would love to see a proper backup for Gerrard and Alonso ,because i think hamann is just to old now.would also love to see vicente, a 10 million pound man to come in,but it will be tough, because if valencia do decide to sell him, shurely milan, manu ,real, barcelona, etc would come after him .would love to see a right winger coming, but dont have anyone in mind at the moment.does anyone know anyone who is good enough to play in the reds shirt??and, would love to see another striker come in.dont think baros is good enough, and thats why liverpool play with a 4-4-1-1.would love to see real srtiker Morientes or teenage sensation Fernando Torres,Athletico madrid striker(captain).

I think Vicente is entrenched for awhile at the Mestalla, and if he does go, it will be FAR more than 10 million pounds. Honestly though, I see him staying in Spain. Torres would be a very interesting signing. He is indeed a sensation, but again, I can't really see him leaving Spain. Real Madrid will have to clean house at some point, and I see them buying both Vicente and Torres.

The one Spaniard I could see leaving for Anfield would be Mista. He isn't getting any playing time at Valencia (despite being #2 in scoring in La Liga last year) and Benitez really likes him. I'm not sure what I would think about that signing (would he really be that much more of an improvement over Baros?), but I could definitely see it happening.

I could also see Ayala coming over. He's one of the best CB's in the world and Valencia has played very well without him, so they may try to cash in on him while he's still got some years left.

I know it's not very likely, but I would like to see Kezman get a shot at Liverpool. He doesn't seem to get much playing time at Chelsea, and I think Mourinho's style is holding him back. I really wanted Liverpool to sign him and was disappointed when he landed at Stamford Bridge. Damn Chelski.

whats this ive read in liverpool.tv,it talking about Everton player Ferguson as a candidate to be comin to anifield on the summer.why!!???he hasnt done anyhting(havnt really seen him play, someone can tell us about him?)!!!whats this habbit of naming players that are not even good enough to wear the liverpool shirt!!?why do they always link us with low class players??)
http://liverpoolfc.tv/mediawatch/drilldown/MW6941041011-0923.htm
would love to see morientes coming in,but that will definetly depend on the league table position in Jan and if weve reached the second round of the champions league(Thats the MOST Important!!)

and i remember readin about the young manc.city player Barton, whats up with him??

Wow..Wayne Bridge to Liverpool would be a dream come true for me...I'm a huge fan of his. From what I've read so far, with all the requests this team is becomeing increasingly spanish....which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but not a great thing either.

I'd prefer SWP on the right, but if that doesn't work out, the lesser likely is Vincente. If Liverpool wants to go for these guys, they definetley need to impress in the Premiership and in Europe.

It sure would. Do you think you'll buy him together with Terry and Lampard, or just Lampard?

yeah right!!!those two are the most important players in the chelski squad.lets be more realistic, plase!!!!.yeah, find SWP a good option ,but has just signed a new 5 yr contract over the summer, and is not likely that hell be comin.Mista seems on his way out of valencia, and im shure benitez must be considering a bid for him,but frankly hes only my 3rd option, since i would much rather see Morientes or F.Torres comin.

I honestly can't tell if you realized nicephoras' sarcasm or not

Terry to Anfield will never happen, at least not anytime soon

Morientes would be a good buy if you can beat off Juve. Baros probably needs to go and that might fund more transfer money. Shame it has to all be so spanish right now but I think Mista would be a viable option. Collicini would be another good addition

I think ULLNWA realized nicephoras' sarcasm, he had urged nicephoras to be realistic because not only Terry is Chelski's captain, Lampard is also their most influential midfielder. Am I right, ULLNWA?

C'mon you two, YNWAs... stop bickering!!! :D

I agree 100%. The problem is, Liverpool are a team with great tradition and I feel we need to get back to that way.

Bring in some British based players that have true feel for the Premiership and understand the passion and desire of the Liverpool fans. SWP would be great and I am sure his 5 year contract means naff all, as money talks these days.

Terry, lets get real, we can dream but I think we have a bigger change of Alan Hansen making a return.

Dont get me wrong the Spanish new boys are doing well, but we need to go back to the tradition that was once feared by all teams in England and Europe

Stop living in 1975. No one fears English players. They're second class to Brasilian, Spanish and Italian players. Even French players are better. You don't have a zidane and never will. Where is the English version of Thiereyy Henry? I don't see it. Benitez is thinking right. Only SWP is worthy. Joey Barton?..lol blah

Stop living in 1975. No one fears English players.

Pray tell me, which English players were so feared in 1975? Weren't those the same years England had trouble qualifying for the World Cup let alone playing well there?

They're second class to Brasilian, Spanish and Italian players.

That's funny. Spain hasn't done well at a tournament since 1962, and now they're actually buying English players. As for Italian players, besides Zola and Cudicini, how many of them have actually managed to do well in the EPL? And there have been plenty.

Even French players are better. You don't have a zidane and never will.

Yes, that's a good point, if only all French players were as good as Zidane. How's France looking these days? Playing Aliou Diarra and Dacourt in midfield? Pegguy Luyundula up front? Ooooh, I'm shaking. They did manage to hold the mighty Israel side scoreless in Paris though!

Where is the English version of Thiereyy Henry?

Where's the French version of Rio Ferdinand, Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole, Wayne Bridge, John Terry, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard?

I don't see it. Benitez is thinking right. Only SWP is worthy. Joey Barton?..lol blah

Good call. When you jettison all your English players, give us Gerrard. Since no one's afraid of English players anymore (since its not '75) you won't miss him, right?

well, that doesnt really matter does it??but i see rooney some day getting that level, and really hope he does.I do agree with the fact that its no use talking about tradition this,traditionthat....That was the old days. The modern game demands getting the best players no matter there nationality.

Zidane (has been) Gerrard differant style of player but I would rather have him on my team, and without a doubt he was Liverpool's biggest signing in the summer when he renewed his contract.
Henry (yes in a world of his own)
Brazilian Players over rated, never seen one a player from Brazil perform consistantly well in the English game yet. Gilberto is getting closer.

I agree there is some good Spanish players out there. But Liverpool needs to go back to traditions and if that means going back to 1975 (when we were winning) then I am all for it.

The best Brazilians play in either Italy or Spain, not England. Are you telling me that Ronaldinho wouldn't be in the top three players in the EPL if he had signed with Manchester instead of Barca.

Who's the best Brazilian to ever play in the EPL? I honestly don't know of that many great ones.

Maybe they don't want all that rain and prefer the Spanish or Mediterranean climate.

Ronaldinho could be the top three in the EPL if he moved to it, but then again he couldn't be just as easily. As said earlier, not many brazilian players perform to their full potential in the EPL.
