Hey Nortenos,

I'm in talks with this company to have the banner (for road trips only) below made.

Size is probably going to be 4x9.... If you have any feedback on it, please provide it as soon as you can as I want to have it made by the first playoff road trip. It is a variation of the banner of La Norte website.. you know.. the one you never visit.. lol...

The cost is a little under 200, donations are welcome, but not a must.

Why would you only use it for roadtrips? Why not throw it up next to your others at home?

non LN feedback:

First rule of banners - it's suppose to look good from distance (especially main banner) not couple feet away, so I'd go with font that's more clear. I like white letters on black or red, it seems easier to see. Well generally you'll want it to look good from both distance and close, but if you have to chose go for distance.

from design it looks like 4x18 not 4x9 ;)

hmm ideas... try putting LA NORTE on 1 line, then replace "O" with that round LN logo and use complimentary font... that will place your logo in middle with 3 letters on each side (what can I say I like symetry :) )

Cuz it's smaller? LOl... I don't know... I mean we will use it at home, but we got the bigger banner already so... that was my reasoning...

I think I am just gonna go homemade on my banner idea. Me and Sachin will probably work on it...it'll be a pain in the ass, though.

Truth be told, I can sew and iron pretty well for myself...oh god. I'm a woman in disguise. And that'll probably become a chant in LN now.

you sir are lucky next game is not some asshat midwest team or there would be a 50 footer with Darth, are you woman in disguise? :)

I really like that one Dougg (tho I would probably move 2 logos to left and right of words to center them since corners are usually hard to see, you have grommets and ropes through them, etc) Sweet font :)

(dusts off thread) What's the latest with what? that banner? uh, it got made and debuted in the NY/DCU Playoff game at the swamp...
