Well it's that time of the season again, time for a bot/bad human player stomp, who's everyone got in the first round of the cup?

me, I have the dreaded Maryland Huns at the Maryland Dome

I have the Maryland Wolves at the Maryland Dome. Hmmm. Guess we are playing at the same stadium?

*sniff* *sniff* Is that burnt puppy hair I smell.

I didn't get a bot.

But i'm going to stomp him like he was a bot anyway.

My second string could score seven on this guy.

hmm how's that work? Maybe they are going to play both games at once on the same field with two balls. ;)

Oh well, either one of us could play both teams and still beat them pretty easily.

New Orleans Wizards @ New Orleans Stadium. I think this cup season I'll not PIC my 2nd round. I've got a vastly improved team from last year.

Brazilian Funks @ Brazilian Funks Arena. It is a human team which has recently been assimilated. He does have 3 guys who pull 3 stars though...which is impressive at my level. :D

I'm gonna have trouble. I need some advice on how to handle this match, I've looked through his match history and he usually either CA's or lately he's AIMed, I usually either use AIM or AOW but I'm not so sure about right now.

He's pretty weak other than his huge offense in the center and on the left side. I'm thinking about PIC but the game is away and if I do my midfield will be as weak as his... and that might hurt. So I dunno. :/

Yeah so he can concentrate on the league or so you can make fun of him?

He predicts I'll be knocked back into D6 at the end of the season, so call it a little bit of a rivalry I guess. :)

Playing most of my normal starters, but letting a few non-league starters get some time since they pull decent ***s.

PCFC drew the mighty Mississippi Gladiators. They pulled 12.5 stars in their last match. My top 2 inner mids get 15.5 stars.

:)

I'll PIC for sure, and sprinkle some starters in the lineup if their form is suffering. Then I'll pray for no injuries.

I'd say he wont CA because thinks he's got a good chance here...I think if he's AIM you can do well with AOW if you've got the quality wingers...

I wanted to ask some opinions on this, does anyone just play their straight A team, straight B or mix in among guys on bad form?... I've done it differently over a couple seasons.

Dagam, who finished third in their VI series last season.

Since it's the first round and I'm training stamina, it doesn't really matter who I play. I'll probably play mostly starters. After that, when I switch back to PM, I'll probably try to get all my trainees into either the cup or league match. I'll see if I have a chance of winning either match and that'll factor into my decision.

I used to play starters in the last friendly, then reserves in the cup match. Then I started playing reserves in the last friendly, and starters in the cup match. Lately I've been holding out starters as much as possible in the two matches to avoid injuries. Even if I were to play starters in the cup match I'd bench my keeper and most likely my inner mids since I can't risk it.

But that's just me.

My first cup game, i played starters and would have played them as long as possible since i was in a bot league. Last season, first game was starters and then trainees.

My thinking has changed slightly since then. I want the players I'm going to keep long term to get the experience, hence those guys will play.

Hopefully I can get a long cup run (for me) and rack up lots of experience this season. I am secure enough in my league (and knowing I won't promote this season) I can afford to do that.
