shouldn't be a difficult game. i don't know why Lavolpe called up a bunch of veterans for this game. didn't he say that the team he was gonna use for the qualifiers was going to consist of about 70% of the Olympic team? looks like it's the other way around. anyway, my prediction for tomorrow is Mexico 8 - St. Vincent 0

Anybody know scores from past Mexico-St. Vincent games?
Wasn't one of those games Mexico's most loppsided victory?

Yes that one was way back in qualifying for WC94 I think and it was 11-0 and Zague had 8? I think.

But its not always been easy vs this team either, I clearly remember
Mexico - St.Vincent in a night game at Azteca in WC98 qual with Bora as coach, it was "only" 5-1 for us with Galindo's golazo, Zague with 2 and Hermosillo with 2. And St. Vincents goal was possibly the best strike of the match.

My prediction 7-0.

Zague scored 7 but it was against Martinique in a Gold Cup. Hermosillo scored 4 that game and was the top scorer in the game against St Vincent.

Correction on my own post, hey I was tired last night, I mixed together the St.Vincent and Honduras night Azteca games in late '96

the 5-1 St. Vincent game had...

Galindo with 2
Zague with 1
Hermosillo with 1
1 own goal

Is it that cold in Pachuca around this time of the year?

I checked Pachuca's weather for today...
_____________
70°F
Mostly Cloudy Feels Like
70°F

UV Index: 6 High
Dew Point: 52°F
Humidity: 53%
Visibility: 6.0 miles
Pressure: 30.27 inches and falling
Wind: From the North Northeast at 6 mph
_______________

70 F? Not that cold but then again it could be a 25-30 degree difference for some carribean places.

Still, overall, I think to complain about 70 degree weather for a sporting event is gotta be one of the worst excuses.

Ezra Hendrickson plays in the MLS, too, so should he really be complaining? He plays in Chicago, NYC, Columbus throughout the season.

What in the.. ?!

Anyway, I originally saw today's lineup as being:

Oswaldo
Mendez-Maza-Rafa-Lozano
Lucho-Lopez-Zinha-Arellano
Borguetti-Cuauhtemoc

Which doesn't make sense.

Now I hear Salcido and Mario Perez are going to start.

Kickoff just a few brief moments away.

We'll see.
