Brasil, con 16 puntos líder en la clasificación de las eliminatorias suramericanas del Mundial de 2006, visitará a Venezuela el próximo sábado en Maracaibo y cuatro días después recibirá a Colombia en la ciudad brasileña de Maceió
colombia show no injuries for that game, but the strickers may change, brazil has 3 players out for injuries, silva del futbol ingles y edmilson del barca (reemplazados por el medio campista del Palmeiras)
pre and post game comments here.

Call me crazy or just an eternal optimist but I see Colombia getting a result v Brazil (i.e. a draw). It depends on how we do v Paraguay on Saturday. A solid performance will give the cafeteros the confidence to go into Brazil & get a result.
Lo mas importante es salir del partido contra Paraguay sin ningun lesionados. Yo tengo fe que Colombia puede hacer historia en la proxima semana e sacar 4 puntos de los dos partidos.
COME ON, COLOMBIA!!!

I'd rather take the 6 points.

Me, too. But 4 points would be fine, considering we have to play at Brasil.

I'll be happy with 4 especially if you look at teams schedule who are currently ahead of Colombia.
A draw @ Brazil is almost as good as a win.

Ofcourse a draw at brazil is like a win, but you have to think about the points we gave up at home against them (3), venezuela (3), arg(2)...

Who remembers the end of the Brazil-Colombia game in Brazil during the last eliminatoria?
It felt like I had been kicked in the balls when Brazil scored. Worse, I was on my honeymoon and couldn't let that result piss me off too much and ruin the fun....

you know what, i've never felt more at ease facing this game, we're halfway dead anyway.....maybe colombia will show some shame and pull off a good result.

lets face it folks, as much as i like colombias national team. brasil is in another level themselves. who is gonna stop the ronaldos, ronaldhinos, kakas, roberto carloses, cafus and even the adrianos coming off the bench? if colombia holds its ground at the beginning of the game, maybe and i say maybe they may have a fighting chance. if they let one or two goals go by then forget it

I don't know, last time we almost did it, that 96' minute goal, what minute was it? was the worst anyone could have scored against us last time around....but Kaká isn't playing, but Adriano is, we have to watch him, oh yea don't forget that guy Ronaldo??

We played well against Paraguay and should have won. We must score goals and get Angel out of the line up. He does nothing for Aston Villa and never does Sh** for the national team. Why dont we call up Chitiva at least he is not scared to take a man on, and is not just a cherry picker in the box. What about Castillo, Rey, or ever Ariaga. I'm just tired of Angel not doing anything ever! Viva Colombia.
