Arsenal. If they don't win the Champions League they should be embarrassed.

They consistently underachieve in European competition though, that's why in my opinion, Manchester United can call themselves a more successful team than Arsenal because of what they've done in Europe. Before you say anything, I'm a Newcastle United fan. :)

i picked real madrid...hopefully this isnt the CURRENT best team's opinion.......i cant beleive arsenal has so many votes....they cant be the best if they cant compete in europe

i agree you are only the best if you struggle in europe and suck in your league, that is why real is the best!

i say AC Milan, in the 90's they changed the way to play soccer bringing fantasy , and great pressing. In15 years they have been following that path and win so many cups. in europe first is Real and after is AC, let's not forget that. How long can Arsenal be good, they still have to show me that.

There's no way 130 people have voted for Arsenal with only 24 replies to the thread. I'm positive someone (or multiple people) are cheating the poll but there's no way to prove it.

All time or right now?

All time I'd vote for Ajax, right now I'd say Arsenal or FC Barcelona.

Oh, and one question: what on Earth is PSV doing in a poll like this?

Worlds Best= Best record recently
Porto Uefa Champions 2003
Porto Uefa Champions League 2004
Superliga Champs In the same years. Enough said You can all pick different teams but not one of you can say they have won the big games like Porto.

AC Milan is the best team in the world, they will win the champs league that they lost last year. In my opinion, Porto won the champions league that Milan lost. It was theirs and they blew that one game which ruined their entire season. If I stand correctly, Milan lost 3 games last year in total (in both Serie A and Champs League).

They are still the best team and most balanced team in the world.
Arsenal are a great team too, but can't seem to compete in Europe as they do in the premeirship.

ManU...best team on paper.

But the best team on the field is any team coached by Mourinho.

Either you are 13 years old and love Cristiano Ronaldo or don't watch soccer at all and just follow Ronaldo. Man United are not even close to the best team on paper, would struggle to make the Top 10 in my opinion currently.
As for Mourinho, he is a good coach but doesnt mean that he will do well with Chelsea this year.

Chelsea is playing very well right now - but the injury to DD will hurt them.

Arsenal, so long as Bergy & Cesc are in the line up then they'll beat anyone.

People are slating Arse coz they have one win and a draw in 2 CL games.... gee that's soooooo awful. The Cl is all about peaking at the right time so it's actually good Arsenal haven't been their best yet coz it means that they are not due for a dip in form anytime soon. Look when JUve got to the final, they just scraped out of the group stages, including losing 3-0 to MAnure at home and 2-0 away, but they peaked when it mattered and got to the final.

I voted for Milan, but it's really hard to say.

In last year's CL, there were lots of surprises. In a given game between 2 of those teams (or two leg series for that matter), it's really hard to predict the result, so the team that actually wins should probably be called the best. So Porto have a strong argument.

exception: Arsenal :p

All you have to do is disrupt their cutesy little style that they play and you can dominate them. Mid to low level EPL teams can't do that, but most CL teams that make past the group stage can.

When you mess up their little groundsy style, they can't resort to any type of aerial game. They can't score off high balls in the box and they have no target player to launch the ball to in games where they don't dominate possession.

Also their star player is a choke artist.
