Thank god Fox news is out there telling it like it is - that John Kerry is a self-avowed cuticle-caring metrosexual - and also that the powerful underground group Communists for Kerry are working night and day for his election.
"Lord, what fools these mortals be..."
First I scorned fox news for the slanted news they present.
Then I scorned fox viewers for eagerly sucking up falsities.
But now I am wondering if Fox news reporters got their journalism degrees from a crackerjack box. I mean, how stupid can you be?

The viewers are dumber. The journalists aren't manipulating the situation because they are stupid. They are manipulating it because they know their stupid viewers will believe it and it'll advance their conservative views.

This is a trick question - Fox doesn't have journalists.

The viewers buy it hook, line, and sinker; so why not give it to them?

I have the same feeling, but I'm also wondering whether you're referring to a specific story re: the manicures (which, I should note, the governor of California gets once per week)?

why yes, yes i was.
The fox news internet news-story about how Kerry said things like "women love me, I'm a metrosexual", and "look at my cuticles".
The newswriter was "tired".
Get some ****ing coffee, you whiny little ***** of a reporter. My hemorrhoids have more journalistic integrity than your entire newsdesk.

CBS could never hope to be as 'Fair and Balanced' as Fox.

I saw a little more about this on Talking Points Memo, but I'd be curious to see the actual news item. Pretty funny, that FOX Network, publishing a story with made-up quotes.
Just goes to show that Republicans can't do satire.

The actual article. People should be angier at FOX than they are. It is in no way clear that this is parody.

People who would rather get their news from big-titted bimbos rather than professional journalists.

Would someone please explain the phrase "light badinage" to our humorless friend here?

We have the Naked News in the USA, right?
But hey, let's not get off topic here. Time to use a thread to bash all the Right and/or those who watch Fox News...for the commercials. ;)

disciplined like a "you're fired" smackdown, or disciplined like a "hey, next time don't give me truckloads of forged and faulty documents about Iraqi WMD, or I'll take away your key to the executive washroom for a month" knuckle-rapping?

Is this the same Carl Cameron whose wife worked (works?) for Dubya's campaign?
