For Newcastle, it is definitely Uriah Rennie.

Not just because he sent off Mr Shearer, but because of his general attitude - he gives a strong impression of thinking that people have come to watch him rather than the players.

A couple of seasons ago, he booked Lua Lua for diving in a game at Bolton. The Bolton defender admitted that he had in fact fouled our player, which Shearer helpfully pointed out to Rennie. Not only wouldn't he reverse his decision as regarded Lua Lua, but he booked Shearer as well.

Having said that, there are few of them that we can be said to like.

There are three that I really, really hate to see refereeing when I go to Highbury. Graham Poll, Rob Styles and Andy D'Urso all want to be the star of the show rather than going about their job quietly and efficiently. They all seem to want to make a controversial decision for the sake of it.

Uriah rennie just baffles me with some of his decisions. I've seen him give free-kicks way away from the ball where nothing appeared to happen at all.

YES!

Oh Graham Poll is a fcuking arsehole!

He was diabolical at Liverpool vs Man City, so us City fans starting chanting that for the twenty minutes of the game left, the extra time and as we were leaving the ground.

He really is a 'hole.

He's not a referee though. He is RvN's strike partner.

Let me add my $0.02;

When watching the Irish League Hilights, the Larne Boss said the Standard of Refereeing is apauling. The Ref favoured the Home Side according to him. Also, in Gaelic Football (which is king in Tyrone) you always hear Old men shouting, "Far Jissus Sake Referee!". So bad Refereeing is experienced by us as well. But Referees in the Premiership tend to like United because they seem to have a Fear of United fans chanting, "The Referee's a Scouser!". :D

I'll put in another vote for Rob Styles.
