the fewest goals given up in a Premiership/1st division campaign? Your guys are certainly playing as if they will chase that record and I applaud them for that. As a defense appreciator, as well as an old Arsenal fan, I think you've constructed the right team to challenge Arsenal. Plus, I don't think you guys are playing that stultifyingly (if that's a word). Duff and Robben will make things happen for you, although Drogba is certainly looking like a bust for the money. You need to find someone else to part with Eidur...

The EPL record belongs to Arsenal. In the 97/98 season we only conceded 17 goals in 38 matches. The record in the old first division belongs to Liverpool with an impressive 16 goals conceded in 42 matches.

A lot of more or less interesting records can be found at this site: http://www.the-english-football-archive.com/records/english_football_records.htm

I agree, except for the opinion on Drogba. His been our most consistant performer in attack so far this season. Its Gudjohnsen, Mutu and Kezman that havent been offering enough support.
