A much more interesting question will be - 'who will be willing to pick up one of our expensive non-starters and will the player accept the offer?'
Think of this as a precursor to making room for Gerrard in the off season :D

Dear lord, I hope Stevie G doesn't go to Chelsea. I have a hard enough time liking him as a Liverpool player. :D

He he he...
Come now Sara, can't hold it against the lad by wanting to better himself :D
Geremi - Parker - i think it comes down to these two.

Geremi, almost certainly. He's not English and has been a vast disappointment both on the flank and on set pieces. I think Parker stays, and will be a makeweight in a deal to land Gerrard this summer, along with about 25M.

Parker won't be worth much as a makeweight if he doesn't get more then 5 games before the summer.
They'll want Duff or Gallas or someone dynamic and worth a pretty penny and hell when you have Gerrard as your asset you can basically ask what you want.
For the summer it's probably parker but I'd imagine just on loan, Maybe to Sara's Everton or more like Villa I'd say or Norwich, They'll be takers.
Geremi is a good shout but I honestly don't know who'd want him, better hope from interest from abroad on that score. Just seems all the arrows point to the one odd man out.

Ha! They can want whomever they want. They're not going to get Duff or Gallas.

Parker will likely be loaned out, not sold. I agree there. Not only will there be takers, at least 13 teams would take him in a heartbeat.

Geremi? Again - at least 10 Premiership teams would take him. Boro would love to have him back, I'm sure.

While I think that someone may go in January, the basis of this thread is utter **********e. Compare the Sky post to that on the CFC home page in another thread. It takes the statements out of context to make it seem like Parker is looking for a way out. I had a lot more respect for Sky than this - what a load of bollocks. Quote the entire article if you want the whole truth. Wankers.

3:44 AM? Thought I went to bed after I got home from the bar. Me thinks it is time to stop drinking so much. No offense intended to you adri, apparently I was just a bit pissed at the media trying to unsettle the squad. That and the silly penguin...
I will now quit replying to my own posts as that is the first sure sign of schizophrenia.

None.
Scott Parker is one injury to Makelele away from becoming a starter. Mourinho sees Parker in that role and so there isn't much room on the bench for him (as you would rather have a more versatile option, than a pure defensive midfielder) and until he gets games to change that perception, that is the situation.
Look at where we are at for forwards right now. We have one healthy forward.

Stevie G doesnt seem like a guy who would benefit from playing for Chelsea right now... look at the current state of L'pool and you can see how Stevie realizes how important he is there. Were he to come to Chelsea, he would be a great player, but he doesnt offer anything that Makelele, Lampard, and others bring to the table.
I think Duff remains the one player who would benefit most, and probably look for first, a move away from Chelsea. That said, I doubt Chelsea will let him go, Geremi being as was stated earlier a more likely option.

Sure he does. He slides into Smertin/Geremi/Tiago's spot oh so nicely. How's this for a 4-3-3:
Ferreira-----Carvalho-----Terry-----Bridge
---Gerrard--------Makelele-----Lampard
---Robben--------Drogba-------Duff
I like it. A lot.
I think Duff remains the one player who would benefit most, and probably look for first, a move away from Chelsea.
Aside from the painfully obvious fact, borne out by the past three games, that this is completely and patently untrue, pray tell, why do you think so?
That said, I doubt Chelsea will let him go, Geremi being as was stated earlier a more likely option.
Than Duff? Duh.

Sure, that's an incredible 4-3-3, and Gerrard slides into that spot with ease. But as you've already pointed out, there are three capable midfielders that can already fill that spot, and as I mentioned I think Gerrard's game will develop better at Liverpool for the time being. Whether he would want to come to Chelsea and be just another midfielder is a debate we could have for a while (as is Chelsea regularly playing a 4-3-3), but ultimately I dont see Chelsea making him a priority for the near future. Another striker is probably more important.
Secondly, I mention Duff because the simple fact is, or at least my opinion is, that he would benefit from another team that's a little more inclined to play for a 3-1 win rather than a 1-0 win. Sure, he's looked good the past few games, but the jury's out whether he will continue to see regular minutes. You obviously think so, and more power to you.
As for the third point, I wasnt trying to make an innovative and ground-breaking argument. Your sarcasm is well appreciated though... as is your avatar

I think it will be parker because he has not seen the pitch in a while but i dont think we will buy anymore players now as the team is performing and mourinho said he wants a short squad to work with

Well, opinions differ on whether or not he would benefit i suppose.
Many thought it was an iffy move by SGE in Portugal - worked out okay i think.
I, however, didn't base that comment on 'wishful' thinking.
Mourinho came right out, about a fortnight ago now, and stated that he got all the players he wanted in the of season - bar one.Guess who?
Liverpool are going nowhere this season as far as the title is concerned.
Cup wins, as ever, largely depend on the luck of the draw.
Gerrard has stated that he will see out this year and give it his all, his staying totally dependant on what he has in the silverware cupboard.
I see nothing but dust.
I see Mourinho going after him again in the summer, this time landing him.
I could be wrong.

Hard to say.
None may leave at all if injury becomes a problem, however, if it doesn't, i can't for a second see a player like Parker being happy with a token appearance in the League cup and an odd turn out on the expanded bench in the Champs league.

What's all this Stevie G dribble? He's already told you no once, and will probably do so again. Stevie is a Liverpool fan, and with Rafa in charge of us, we have to potential to be something great once we get past our transitional period, that's why he stayed in the first place..

So you don't think Mourinho will go back in for him again?
I think he will in the summer.
If Liverpool win nothing and finish off the pace, regardless of 'transitional' time lines - i think he'll be off.
Long way to go mate, but, dismissing it completely is rather hopeful don't you think?

Stevie, at this point, is like that gorgeous girl with the nondescript guy at the dance. Sure, she told you no once. But since when did that stop you from asking again?
