Yeah theyre still around, but i havent gotten a chance to go. I just go to Larios cause my uncle plays for his team and sometimes he gives my uncle stuff for less.

GO to Chicago Soccer on 48th N Western they have all the gear and a very nice setup too.Chicago Soccer is the only place I have purchased my jerseys aside from that one time at Champs were they hooked me up with a 50% discount on a Real Madrid. Screw Ochoa sports they have some lame bootlegs.

I dont like chicago soccer cause they sell everything too expensive. Right now i wanna get the new Toluca shirt. Maybe the Veracruz one. And tomorrow im gonna try to get America's away jersey just to piss chivistas at school on monday. But does anybody know where i can get it for like $70? cause i called Larios and he said it was $80. not a big difference but still.

Another place that I found was at Foot Locker downtown on State Do not even waste your time there

The America jersey was last years version at the full price. and all the Atletica jerseys were cheap bootlegs at $50.

You guys should pick up the sept 20-26 edition of Señor futbol.. it has the most detailed report on the Hugo-Lavolpe "war". by far the most chronilogical and informative article about the situation....

after reading it... you are going to say, "thats ********ed upppppp..." the article is not one sided. it tells both and has quotes from other parties that support hugo and lavolpe... but at the end... you had a coach starting fights, humilating players, showing up to practice late on a regular basis.

It goes into detail about the Austria trip.. that in itself was the straw that broke the camels back..

it also talks about the Lavolpe hiring process (they way atlante hired him). I didnt understand why the Atlante president would hire a coach in the first place that he couldnt stand... thats is stupid

I love the magazine.... its informative.

it has interviews with current players and ex players.

it analyzes each game that was played in the previous month.

The January and Auguest/September always has the complete roster.

it gives you news about the youth teams, affilate teams, and tryouts

it talkas about thier marketing ventures, ideas, and etc...

it talks about the fan card and the benfits of subscribing to it. (for example.. thier socio aguila has more subscribers than Boca Jrs, River Plate, and Barza.)

it has interviews with celebrities and media people that are americanistas

it has crossword puzzle which is america related and always fun (good trivia stuff)

it has letters and pics of hardcore fans

I couldnt find the new Toluca or Veracruz jersey, mainly cause i didnt look, so i just ended getting the new America jersey. I just got it to anger people at school and to wear to the game on friday at Soldier Field. Maybe ill get me a copy of that magazine. Ive seen it at Petes Market but i dont know if its the new one. Ill check it out this weekend.

Just picked up a copy! First time I've ever pick one up, not bad for 2.50. I read the mag at home after work. The cover looks different from the one I have.
