Since our sections are being retired anyway, how about using our old seats for fundrasing? I bet you'll get at least 50 locos interested. Nice peace of history, plus they might actually get used for their intended purpose ;-)

I am not paying for a broken chair. :)
That is a great idea. I would pay money for my supposed season ticket seat. Since I have never actually sat in it or stood on it i- it should be in great shape

i say broken ones are free ;-)
we'll have to keep it quite so no redskins fans find out about it until we get ours ;-) and of course they'll be player autographed, something like "Thank you for you support La Barra Brava/SE/etc."

or how about some marketing campaign from dcu along the lines of "keep your seat" for renewing your season tickets for next year? or "buy one get one (your old one) free"
possibilities are unlimited ;-)

I just need an upper piece to complete my RFK seat collection. Half of my orange seat is hanging in my cubicle at work. The youth soccer coaches who visit my office always chuckle when they see it. When the weather is cooler you can fit them under a loose shirt. ;)

Not to be too cynical or to hijack this thread -- but the best fundraising idea for United would be to start playing with ganas on the road. More people would show up for home games.
