Whats the rational behind the broadcast schedule of FSW this season? All of a sudden they yank the eridivisie league games, 1 bundesliga game per week? 1 ligue 1 game a week. No CL, Serie A and la liga. Good job with the increased EPL games though. Whats with the MLS and USL games? Why would i pay to watch that crap? Same with the brazilian and argentine games.

Why is the US schedule different from the canadian schedule?

Seems like no one is answering you questions nor commenting on your comments. I agree with what you are saying, I don't understand it either. Also, they repeat a lot of games and don't even broadcast some pivotal matches from the EP.

I hope you get Gol TV as well. It's not bad, You can catch some games from South American leagues and the voice over is sometimes hilarious.

* Fox Sports World and Fox Sports World Canada are two different channels. They do not necessarily always show the same programming, in much the same way that Fox Sports World and Fox Sports World in Spanish do not show the same programming.

* Gol TV has rights to Serie A and La Liga in the US, you can find 3-4 games from each league each weekend on that channel.

* Since FSW is a US channel, it's perfectly understandable that they would show MLS and USL games. I find the South American games quite entertaining.

* It's likely they gave up the Dutch rights because of lack of ad revenue, but who knows. Some say that's the reason they've scaled back to 1 German game a week, too, but again, that's not for me to know for sure.

* You really need to find a way to get hooked up with Gol TV. The sheer variety of leagues they show, and the volume of Italian and Spanish matches they show, makes it worth it.

Does anyone know why we no longer get live Sunday morning EPL games anymore? Notice they are on PPV here in Canada.

Is this just more penny-pinching, errrrr, cost-cutting by Global?????

Or is this the start of the end for FSW????? How long before we lose the EPL weekly highlight show?????

Hey Barayna - I have GolTv now cos i switched to dish network. Dude, i find myself constantly glued to that channel - its not even so much about if there is a game on, the voice over on those news and recaps just keeps me constantly entertained. Those guys are hilarious, i almost broke a rib laughing yesterday from listening to those guys recap the brazil vs venezuela game. I am so happy i am not forced to listen to shawn wheelock or whatever his name is anymore.

Sounds like Gol TV is really taking off and cutting into FSW. I noticed on the Gol TV website it says "GolTV is the first and only Television Channel dedicated 100% to showcasing soccer in the US and Canada". However as far as I know, Gol TV's application for a licence in Canada was turned down. We can't get Gol TV in Canada.
