Hello, I was wondering if anyone is going down to DC for the big US-Panama World Cup Qualifier on Oct. 13th. I just started grad school at Penn and don't have a car. The greyhound leaves at bad times and amtrak is too damn expensive. I know of another person that will definitely go and we will pay for gas and tolls. Please!

Yeah, I'm going, and I'm going from Penn no less. But I think I'm gonna save up and take the train instead of trying to hitchhike.

If you have Student Advantage you can get 15 percent off and then 10 percent off of that with the fare sale Amtrak is doing right now, if that helps. The last train leaves New Carrolton at 10:12 pm, which should be doable, if close, from RFK.

Let me know if you find someone. The other grad student I know who I used to go down with isn't going b/c he doesn't have time.

Hey,
I'm not as smart as you guys (I go to Temple) but I was thinking about going down but didn't want to go down by myself. If you two want to meet up I'll drive down and we can split tolls and gas. How's that sound? We can get tickets from Sam's Army. Let me know! Either post on here or PM me.

I'll think about it... depends where we meet, etc. I was also gonna go with La Norte because I can get tickets closer to the day of game and I was gonna meet a friend of mine from DC down there. I dunno.

And I do think we all need to meet over a game on TV somewhere in center city. Or when the US women nats come to town on November 6.
