Actually, I really liked Shaolin Soccer.
It was soccer on steroids, and fun to watch.

Seconded. Blends two of my favorite things; soccer and martial arts.

My favorite is G'olé! - documentary on the 82 Cup.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084011/

This movie will be shown on CBC - this comming Saturday - May 9 - from 2:00pm ET to 4:00 pm ET. (Weird that would show it on a Saturday when the Toronto FC arn't playing a afternoon game on the network - would have been a nice lead-in to the game - making it a soccer-like DH.)

Well they kind of edited the hell out of it...no Kuwaiti sheik vs. France and no topless women on the beach.

Escape to Victory and An Impossible Job. Those are probably the only two I've really enjoyed.
