A Shot At Glory.
That was really, really good. I don't miss it whenever it gets shown on any of the Foxtel movie channels here.

Robert Duval was sensational in it, in the lead. And I know it's been discussed before here, but hasn't Duval done other soccer-related movies as well?

I think even his agent can give him a pass on that one. :D

He has done others, if memory serves?

Frankly there aren't any good football films. The best football moment in a film is this:

From the all time classic Kes.

Because Americans are not as long-winded as Brits.

Example:

Brits: A brilliant strike from 16 yards off the left foot results in the fortitude of the back netting threads being tested.
Americans: GOAL!!!

I personally like "GOAL, GOAL2" it was pretty biased with Newcastle but are great films....

Football Factory was good but so was Green Street Hooligans, that movie was freakin rad. Both Goal movies were good but I liked the first one better.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Offside. It is a 2006 Iranian movie done in Farsi with English subtitles. It is about Iranian women who try to sneak into the Iran-Bahrain AFC WC 2006 qualifier game in Tehran. I found the DVD at my local Hollywood Video in the new releases section.

I'll also give another vote to The Cup. In case you didn't know already, it is about soccer-obsessed Buddhist monks in Tibet during World Cup '98.

Alright, so Offside and The Cup get my votes. I'm showing my Asian bias. Go AFC! Haha...
