Victory! (Escape to Victory.) It's so bad but that just makes it better. Goes hand-in-hand with The Great Escape for pre-German game viewing.

Mike Bassett: England Manager is brilliant, for the record.

i diddnt see goal, but it looked ok, the mexican dude at newcastle one i think
bend it like beckham is ok, but the sean bean ones probably the best ive seen and that was average
Yeah, Bend Like Beckham was pretty good. It's a good movie for young girls. I would say between the ages of eight and sixteen, but I didn't mind it.

I really like Goal. Bend It Like Beckham is alright, although it's kind of a chick flick.

"Azul y Blanco"-more about the hardcore "hinchas" than actual football.
"Historias de Futbol"-a poor family and how their life depends on the sport. It is a trilogy, won some awards.
"Barra Brava"-based on my hardcore hinchas-LOS DE ABAJO.
Real Madrid rocks!

Without a doubt, Real, the Movie is the best soccer movie I've ever seen. It does a pretty good job explaining why Real Madrid is the best club in the world.
By the way guys, Goal II – Living The Dream is about Real Madrid as well. I'm looking forward to watching it. I've heard it'll be playing in May this year in the US. Has anybody heard anything else on this?

Do they have this movie in English?
If so, do you know a link of where I can buy it?

Nick Hornby's "Fever Pitch" would have been a great soccer movie., except Hollywood changed it to a baseball flick.

Probably been posted in this thread, but Mike Bassett: England Manager and Purely Belter are probably the best two football movies I've seen.

Yeah, the baseball version sucked, I don't care that it was all about Boston and the Red Socks. It was just wrong
The orginal version is British though, some what true to the book, it focused on Arsenal. It had Colin Firth in it; it was all right. Of course I'm not an Arsenal fan, eh.

A dutch movie named: Johan...
It's about a family that lives on Texel (a island), only sons are born so the father (Rinus, named after Rinus Michels), can set up his own footballteam with nicknames of the players of the Dutch national team in the 70's. The biggest name is for the last son, Johan.
Only, Johan dont like to play the game.
I enjoyed this movie very much, more than any other footballmovie.
